Wood vs PVC for 2 x 3 Grow Box/Tent?

Been thinking about building a 2x3x6 box for an area Id like to veg, or possibly hold a mother in, or maybe even use as an extra flowering box. Just curious about using PVC vs Wood as the frame? Ive heard people complain about PVC and chemicals/toxicity etc.

Also if you go PVC or Wood for the frame, what thickness would be recommended? Trying to avoid 2x4's if at all possible due to weight if going with wood.

Ill probably be using Reflectix for the interior lining.

I built a 4x4x6 tent out of PVC. Easy to move. And sence I added slip joints it takes no time to take down and move if needed. Don't glue any of the joints.

plus it easier to take down wont need to keep buying tape to repair, one right now has a cool tube, 200cfm filter and x2 6" fans all on the ceiling probably close to a 100lb and its holding, well at that, honestly if it wasnt for the fabric(really the only cheap thing about it, i made a small tear on the bottom trying to move it assembled) i would say it better than my jarden all the poles on my jarden are rusted(this one is powder coated) and the zippers too one zipper even fell off!(lots of repairs to make to that tent if possible....)

Nice yeah I went with the 1", but got alot of slip joints and other stuff to add or subtract from it down the road. What did you use to enclose yours? I have reflectix, but also saw those reflective styrofoam panels at the shop. Just trying to figure out how to enclose it best. Trying to figure out if I should use adhesive, tape, velcro, etc...

Use panda plastic. White side in. Don't worry about the PVC. Make it tight on the outside and use the 4" duct tape. Holds better.

Oh and when you get to the wraping of the 2 sides. Tape it together. And make it the back. Use the zipper on a non taped area. Tape it on then cut.
