I noticed this abnormal growth on my baby plant a few days back but it was so small I ignored it….but it’s growing and I’m truly afraid it could be diseased….. so it has been banished from the grow room until I know what the frig it is.

The first pic shows it but is so small you may not see it well…so the following are taken with my 150x USB microscope.

They look like blisters….or could it trying to produce pollen pods at such a young age? (sprouted on April 15th)

You should hop the pond and come stateside Moe. Americans have a fascination with Brits and you would be a smash over here! Go to Cali, set up a co-op farm, live free!! Lol. Sad tho, we all should be able to live free...
I pulled while over in Teaneck, NJ in 1999. and was invited to a party by another girl. ... I was there for 2 weeks. lol. Thats was my only visit to America but I loved it. Especially liked Manhattan and Atlantic city. ...... (I also got ripped off and threatened to be shot whilst scoring weed from a group boys in Manhattan, I didn't see a gun) .... That was my first ever time abroad and was very eventful.

I will move stateside at some point but need to buy a house here first. The U.S is soooo much cheaper to live (unless you get ill) that I would enjoy a decent standard of living from renting my home here.

Wow ISK, that is extremely weird. I've never seen anything like that so could not venture a guess at what that is.
thanks...I thought it was just my total lack of experience, so I guess I'm right calling it a mutant

it is so ugly, the pics did not show just how bad it really looks.....I may just pinch off the mutant part...or maybe just kill it

I wouldn't kill it, if I had the room to see what it will do. Just make sure not to get swallowed up when it gets bigger lol.

yeah, I think killing it will be our last resort before it takes over the world as we know it today.

I will isolate it from the grow room and give it sunshine only.

I thinking I should slice off the mutant part....then I'll be able to take better pics to scare everyone

Moe where I live the cost of living is very low...That's why we moved here for a better life, peace and quiet...I got tired of neighbors, dogs, cops, kids, school busses, the list goes on...I would like to stay in this house and be able to complete our project, not sure if I'm going too...I'll wait to decide...My son has 1 year left of school, then he wants to go into the military...I'll decide later, but it's a lot for 1 person to take care of.

Hey all, alone on Mother's day :( But I took full advantage of the day, I checked on the scrog I started yesterday, Right now it's just a test set up, and vegging, Not ready for anything more , used 4 plants in a self watering flower box, I just add water from the front, It's a cocoa base and perlite and coco media, I had to put something down ad the perlite fell thru...100_2318.jpg Yes the king is holding a light, temp set up, still in the planning and building stage...Nice heat and air floor fan for good movement, I will find another bathroom fan and vent this room outside as well...100_2322.jpg, This is the base for my homemade scrog screen, 100_2324.jpg These 4 plants were lst already, so they were perfect subjects. they were in 2 liter bottles. 100_2326.jpg I will work on finishing this room next week...

But while I was thinking about the layout and heating/cooling/venting issues, I came up with an idea, 100_2313.jpg Hmmm, It has a fan in it and it's meant to move air thru the vents on the side, blowing it across the water and causing evaporation, so why would it not cool with ice in it...100_2317.jpg100_2314.jpg So I put it on the vault with 1/2 ice, fit under my automatic icemaker for easy fill ups. and 15 minutes later the vault had cooled 5 degrees...I'm questioning the effects of blowing on the bulbs?> maybe making hot/cold spots, but just maybe using in the room as a makeshift swampcooler..I know it will get hot up there over the summer, and since this has a regular plug in fan, It can replace a fan in the room....so the power would stay the same. so I'm thinking of doing a test tomrrow and filling it with ice and seeing how it works all day, I could even put it in a cooler or styrofoam insulation, the tray does not leak but I'll leave it in one just in case.

I laughed pretty hard when i saw the nut cracker king holding the light i didn't even see him at first then my gf pointed him out, just a few comments on your set up though, your screen holes look a little bit small the minimum size holes you want in the screen are about 2"x2" i believe the reason for this is it helps you manipulate the plants threw the screen with out damaging them and because part of the purpose of the screen is kind of as separator so your colas don't grow to close together and block light, you might want to cut out a square pattern one size bigger than the one you currently have. Also as far as that diy swamp cooler goes I'm not sure how much those raise the humidity but that could wind up rather bad for you if you end up in the middle of flowering in the summer and ether have to much heat or to much humidity, the best solution for not having good ventilation is having good ventilation, you can get some pretty cheap grow/ventilation equipment off ebay for some great prices.

(edit) also water + rlectricity is also bad Mkay.

It all looks really cool Whocares. ... That Hempy trough with the hole in the side is something Ive not seen, it'll work great. And I had missed that Chandelier before, lol very ingenious.

And that nutcraker king holding the light made me laugh too.

Shiva you may need to explain this washing of the butter to me but it sounds interesting.

Hey dude washing the butter takes most of the green bud flavor out of the butter making it taste much less like herb. Keeps the smell of herb out of the treats too for the most part. When you make candies or caramels it is an absolute must as the temps you work with will scorch plant material and make your candy taste like ass withnblack flecks in it.

Washing is an easy if long process. Basically after you infuse the butter and dispose of leaf/bud material you want to chill the butter until it seperates from the water...toss water out (itll be mucky n stink) refill your container with fresh water and heat it back up in a hot water bath...recool it until it seperates...toss water...(i scrape the mucky butter off top and trash it) repeat until your water looks like thissecuredownload-781.jpg instead of thissecuredownload-527.jpg

Well ya made me go look, squares are 1 1/2 each, 9 squares per foot, it's just bag seed and a test so I think I'll be ok for now...

The Nutcracker king is one of my collection, I have over 300 different ones...

As far as the humidifier,it is working for me for now, ya might be right on the humidity but there is a bathroom exhaust fan installed about 2 feet above that vents to outside..as for the humidifier, if it can hold water and work, why would ice be any different?

I just don't want to have to run the whole house central air to cool this place, as these rooms are sealed and have no vents.

The kids will be over around dark for a bonfire, cooking hot dogs and marshmallows, and watermelon :)
