Pic of BW to be harvested Monday. This is a couple of the sugar leafs showing the trich cover on this plant. Wish the whole plant looked this way. Maybe one of the pheno's will at some point.20150604_125440.jpg20150604_125550.jpg

hey GR, where did you get the mr.nice seeds from? was it from the auction on the mr nice website?? was curious how the auction thing worked.
I went through Seedsman.com
If you go to the MNS website they show a couple of their distributors along with the Auction. Also you can find info about the auction.
Most all of MNS seeds are regulars, but you get 18 seeds per pack.

First up bubblegummer, and somehow I haven't knocked it off its shim up pail.

9lb hammer 6.5wk pheno, notice it's throwing a bunch of red hairs at 4wks

15-06-09_d28 043.jpg

The 8wk 9lb, again low bud density, but it is the frostiest girl in the room.
15-06-09_d28 048.jpg

Last with the best bud structure and the most leaf is the C-99. I've grown c-99 several times before from different breeders/sources and none have looked anything like this.

I can't take all the credit this run, the reason there were no 3wk photos is because we were out of town, and our niece watched the dog and watered the plants. I should have shown her how to raise the lights in the veg, they had grown into the bulbs. They were in need of topping so it worked out okay.

Well what an interesting week!

I put BW 1 clone 3 in the the dark closet on Saturday with the plan to harvest it on Monday. I had stopped the water to that clone on Thursday.
Well the best laid plans, on Sat. I was working in the shop and got tired so I cut that day short. On Sunday I went back out to the shop and began working, got a little dizzy so I decided to come in and take my blood pressure. I could not get a reading on my monitor, kept getting an error message saying it was either to high or too low to read. I just went to bed to rest, later I was not feeling any better so I call my G/F and she came to my place. On Monday I had absolutely had no energy at all, my pulse was 32, not good when it should be 60 to 100. I call my heart dr who is in another town and they said to go to a hospital near me and have an EKG and have the hospital fax the results to the Dr.
I went in had the test and they said I should wait till they talked to the Dr., my blood pressure was not that bad but my heart rate was around 30. My Dr called and said I should come to his office first thing Tuesday, so I was not able to harvest on Monday. I went into the dr. office on Tuesday and when he came in he was looking at my EKG and said GR I think we need to put a pacemaker in, your heart rate is very alarming. I said when should we do this he said right now.
So on Tuesday in the afternoon he installed the PM, I got out of the hospital on Wednesday and came back home, first thing I had to do was water the hempys as they had no water since Monday morning. Yesterday I was finely able to harvest that clone. I had never put the plants in the dark before and I could not believe how sticky it had become. After harvest I moved BW 1 clone 4 in the closet, cut off the water and will harvest that plant on Monday, or that is the plan, LOL.

With the cabinet being empty I was able to move BW 5 clone 3 into the cab., last plant for this grow. BW 5 has been a very strange grow, I had 3 of them under LED for 11 weeks and they looked like they were only a few weeks into 12/12. I ended up composting 2 of them and left the 3rd one under the LED. It had begun a decent flower over the last two weeks so I will leave it under the HPS in the cabinet until it is ready, no matter how many weeks it takes. It's fragrance is devine.

Well that's was my week, good thing is I am alive, and feeling ok, still need to my energy level up but glad to have that opportunity to do so.

BW 1 Clone 3 @ 87 days and harvested.

Very nice harvest GR, sorry to hear about your ticker. Good thing you were on top of it, and didn't blow it off. My father in-law went through the same thing about 3 wks ago. I saw him about a wk after his procedure, and it really helped him. I was amazed at how less intrusive the P.M. procedure is these days. Hope you heal well and quickly.

I have a belated update photos are from last Tuesday . Here's the group at 5wks. I'm having some heat issues. Been having some 90+ degree days, and some low 60's nights lately, which is unusual for this time of yr in my mountain location. Tonight I've taken the 1k out and now running the 400's. Hopefully I can get the lights on temp below 90.

Edit: It's the next day and the light change dropped temp by about 10 degrees.

I decided to run a deck bucket again, I just couldn't throw out one of the Afghan Kush. So I took the smallest one with the tightest node spacing and put it in a 3.5gal coco bucket.

Finished the harvest for all 4 BW1 clones today.
BW1/C1 - 77 days
BW1/C2 - 84 days
BW1/C3 - 94 days
BW1/C4 - 98 days
They are all in various stages of cure now. I am smoking the mother and aunt of these clones now. They have cured 63 days and 56 days respectively. Both are good, I believe the BW5 pheno is the better of the two.
Am interested in seeing what difference the total flowering days show. I do know that as each day passed they became more sticky, and I believe, though I have never tried it before, that putting the plants into the dark closet for a couple of days before harvest has made them yet more sticky.
As I stated in a previous post, I do have one of the BW5 clones in the cabinet now, not sure how long going to let it go. This one is a long story to be told at another time.

Couple of pic's from today's harvest.

Weight report,
BW1 - Strain/C1 - C4 Clone

Parent - BW1 - 74 days - 2.3 Zips

BW1/C1 - 77 days - 1.9 zips
BW1/C2 - 84 days - 2 zips
BW1/C3 - 94 days - 1.6 zips
BW1/C4 - 98 days - 1.1 zip
Larf, shake, popcorns but no leaf all 6 plants - 2.4 zips (I see some cannabutter in my
future.
BW5 -77 days - 2.2 zips
BW5 was/is a strange plant, I should have gone more days maybe weeks. Tall, thin buds, did I say tall. But I believe it has a better high and a great fragrance.

I have one BW5 clone in the cabinet now, day I am not sure how long I am going to let it go. I had it in a closet under an SS400 LED with two other BW5 clones. They totally took over the grow space, and even after supercropping they were 5+ feet tall. The closet had a light leak so they were not producing in the way of flowering, so I composted two of them and put the other in the cabinet after the BW1 clones finished. It is massive, this one plant takes up the entire space in the cabinet, some of the side branching is 4+ feet long, should have supercropped them also. Putting on so/so buds. Pics when I take it from the cabinet for a flushing soon.

Hi all I don't do journals/pics a lot anymore but I figured I'd share some hempy love.

150 HPS stealth SOG in 20 oz Hempys. Lucas Method plus CalMag as these GWS ladies can't get enough Cal and Mag and start rusting.

Nirvana White Widow and Greenhouse Great White Shark. 16 days Flower.

First close ups are WW. The two top plant is the GWS. Followed by a couple group shots.

Cabinet is DIY made out of one of those Sterlitr Storage cabs.

I'm aware of the clear cup thing. I flower a week-week 1/2 after clones root and have no issues with clear cups by end of harvest. Will eventually fix this issue next run (as I always say and never do as it's perpetual).

Hi

I was gonna let em go another 6-10 days but checked today with a magnifying glass and found a lot of amber trichs, swollen cakyxes, no more white pistils. Should I chop or let me go a little longer? What do ya guys think?
download the pics and do heavy zoom... you can distinguish the amber heads

btw on one of the tops the very tops of the trich heads are tar-like in colour

Cheers!
