Hey all.
i have an blurple LED light stick made to hang vertically. It is 100 wall watts and includes deep red, blue, IR, UV and a bit of white.
It is not in use at this time.
I also have a Cree CXB 3590 5 cob DIY LED light. (3500K)(250 wall watts total)
The room it would be used in is already very well light endowed, it is 5 square feet with 50 full spec led light per sq ft.

The question is...
Would it enhance the flowering to add this blurple stick light?

These are the lights...
The stick 100 watt light.

This is the 250 watt led and the tent.

Maybe by .012 gram increase with in 4" of that stick.

It looks worthless bro. If you want to augment your cobs with burple then look at BML side lighting

Right now.....maybe for a week or until I burn my plants I'm augmenting my 800 PPFD of Cree cobs with about 500 PPFD of Osram Zelion HLs. It's probably a waste of electricity

Yeah, that particular lamp isn't going to do much for you, imo. I do use Blurple with my COB, but I have 4 95W Kessil lamps. Each of those does alright over a 2x2, but couldn't produce all on their own.

CLW solarstorm 100 and 200 are great supplemental lights. they use osram SSLs and their "bloombooster" model pounds 630-660 nm

at just over $2/watt for osrams+driver+fat ass heatsink in a package you can throw down the stairs... its hard to beat with stars n bars.
