Would anyone be interested in participating in an auto grow thread?

I ordered a bunch from Seedsman during the same promo... Came taped together the same way... View attachment 4387604i am hoping that you are wrong about them running this promo to get rid of old stock seeds... I ordered 2 packs of Rhino Ryder, and 1 pack of blue Dream, green crack, g14, blackberry, fastberry, smoothie, girlscout cookies, Gorilla Glue, and Mexican Airlines... Hoping those aren't a bunch of garbage seeds. I have probably close to $500 or more into them...
I'm in the same boat for about $200. The tape tells you where they came from and who taped them together. I doubt Seedsman and Hella Dank both have that Fastbuds tape. The question is

"WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY TAPED TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE?"

The deal was for 2 packs, not two packs sealed to themselves. That's the first bit of impropriety by the company Fastbuds. The second is what they put in those packs.

My BlueDreams were good 7 of 8 and they were taped, so there's some hope. I hope.

The tangiematic has not popped up yet. But it was a long floating seed (old) just like the GSC that had a few floaters.

I'm holding 2 tangies, 2 pineapples, 1 GSC and a couple of BD seeds. I'd like to be wrong.

But the tape speaks for itself. FastBuds is a ripoff company.

In a more positive way, yes. You have to sell the older stuff first. But also seeds stored the right way can germinate after years so maybe some of the growers are at fault. All i know is I've almost never had bad seeds and while i tries the paper towel way i like to pre feed and water coco, and next day my seeds go straight in with no soak overnight of scuffing and they always come up fine 3 days later. Maybe FB seeds are finicky with germ methods that seem to be the "norm" while they just plant them and ket them grow natural. Maybe someone can try abit different germ method that are having problems and see if it helps.

Yeah, the seed storage.........growers fault....germination method...yada yada. :) Not saying those are not possible but that really, really, sounds like what FastBuds excuses might be. Their way of pawning off responsibility for their product and practices.
I 've planted plenty of seeds the same way you do, but there are many more preferred ways to do it as well. And they include soaking and scuffing, and H2O2.

Pretty much now, I soak overnite distilled water, paper towel, between dishs on cable box. Just got done with a run of clones from a 5 year old seed I popped this spring. I have very few problems popping seeds. Just these crappy dried out FastBuds seeds.

The BlueDream and the GSC were all put in the water the same time. Same everything, same methods. Can't blame the process there can you? 4 for 5 germed on BD but only 1 for 5, and 1 weak one at that, from the GSC..

If a seed does not sink or take on water, just planting it in the ground would have been futile.

I mean 1 out of 5.....wtf. If they were reg seeds, you could still clone and make it worthwhile........but automatic seeds should be expected to germinate, at the very least.

Finally finished the Double Grapes. All in, I got 226 grams dry from 2 plants in my 2x4 tent with a HLG 260 Rspec...

Pretty happy with that since it was my first auto grow and my first indoor grow. People were not kidding about this being one of the most trichome covered strains. Buds like rocks, and absolutely caked in trichs.

Just popped 2 Grapey Walter's, 1 Toof Decay, and 1 Creme de la Chem. Cant wait to refill the tent.
Nice bud and yield!

Tent of last Thursday pic 2. Fugue State has been chopped now is Ghost toof on the left and sour crack on the right pic 1.
Both are still flowering hard.
Pics of harvested fugue are 3 4 5.
She was the easiest plant to trim. Not much leaf. Smells like juicy fruit gum.

I also spent a lot on Seedsman during the promo. I got a pack of GSC and the freebie came taped to it as well. Except the freebie package said it was a 10 pack but they taped over it with a 5 pack label. And there was 5 in there. That was really strange that they put 5 beans in a 10 seed package and just taped over it. 3/5 germed from that pack

It's in a 5gal fabric pot. Planted in FFOF and a few weeks ago I did top dress with some happy frog dry fertilizer. Hoping the weather cooperates and this doesn't get get but rot...

I would water the entire medium evenly. That root can take off like a bat out of hell and won't venture into the dry.
I watered the whole pot before planting. I'm just really concerned about over watering. Ive seen too many over water and stress their plants out. These are autos so I don't have and extra week or two to get them back right if I over water. Just my thoughts...
