Would Anyone..

Be interested in some of the best soil on Earth? Dark/Black, fertile and has been growing our farm for hundreds of years.

(Just a pic of a common place where I live)

Right now I just want to get a feel on a few things to see if anyone is interested.

1. Would anyone buy soil, if it was very fertile (amazing for marijuana grows)
2. How much would you pay for a cubic ft?
3. Would anyone be interested in upgraded series of soils (added nutes, food)

I'll give everyone a little back info on my area and how our soil became so fertile.

I live above the first rainforest on earth. I can travel 10-15 miles to the old coal mines and find the same kind of fossils as in the article.
The life forms were killed almost instantly (thought to be mudslides)

More history (quote from soil survey) "At the time of early settlement, about 94 percent of
the county supported prairie grasses and forbs
(Iverson and others, 1989). These prairie grasses had
many fine, fibrous roots concentrated near the surface
that added large amounts of organic material to the
soil as they died and decayed."

Another picture of some of the soil in the area

If anyone is interested in some soil, I will be mixing all the best kinds of the soil from around my area and packaging it.
It's almost perfectly neutral PH (7.0) Can make it higher or lower depending on the customer.

Give me some feedback!

If you want to sell soil look into becoming a legitimate business first. Look how others have started their own businesses and tweak it for your needs.
Though your soil probably is good locally I would still never buy it from you until there are safety measures in place within your product. Definitely don't want to open a bag and a week later dormant insect eggs begin hatching.
Plus I would never buy in cubic ft, I have local soil places around me selling for cheap by the cubic yard delivered and all I have to do is add a few amendments and voila. Bomb ass soil.
You have a good idea but your mode of delivery is way off. Keep trying and you'll find a way to make it work.

Hi and welcome to the forum. You've got an interesting idea but you're a untested unknown source. Many on the site don't want to meet or take the chance meeting in RL (Real Life) or having their true ID's known. Maybe local gardening clubs, mom and pop hardware stores or fruit and veg stores. Local supermarkets may let you set up some type of stand on weekends? Ads in local newspapers. Churches? Word of mouth in your local area will probably do best for you. Good luck!

i dont think its legal to ship. over state lines. insects and diease.. and you cant be sure it doesnt have any unless you treat it and then its not organic. pet and coco are treated baked or heated.
