Would like info on growing in the mountains

I am new to this site and have enjoyed reading and basically studying the info that all of you good folks have posted. I am a long time grower from Florida who moved to Costa Rica this past year and am in my first grow here in the mountains. My plants are healthy and just starting to flower now and I must say I am excited, after 38 yrs of growing I get just as excited now as ever. Does anyone have any experience going from sea level to about 6,000 and growing? I know my buds are not very fat right now, but they are just from seeds out of a bag from Panama. You might say this is a practice grow. I look forward to any help or advice you might be able to lend.
