Would melted snow make for good plant water

Would melted snow make for good plant water it's about to snow where i live and i would think melted snow would be allot like rainwater right?

go for it dude it comes from nature how can you go wrong, but make sure its clean and let it get room tem.

Snow and rain are products of natural reverse osmosis but depending on where your from the ph will be different. If you have access to a steady amount of snow use it.

Ya i grabbed like 4 gallons of water running down a fall about 100ft from the top of a mountain... seems great to me they're watering it up with it haha

Depends on where you're getting the snow from. I live in the city, and I wouldn't take snow off my roof, backyard, etc because it's too likely to be contaminated with various pollutants. I'ts only a mile or two to the power plant (and less then that to the old nuclear arsenal that's still being cleaned up), so the snow probably has more nastiness in it then my babies will appreciate.
