It does say enjoy by January 2017 which is now months ago. Planning on inoculating all of them without a weak test on one or a houseplant? When looking for a molasses sub I like to go for something that has molasses content still, but isn't sticky and goopy and messy.. succanat or raw evaporated cane sugar juice, raw organic brown sugar cane crystals, but I also use organic coconut sugar, sometimes. Coconuts are the shit

Yea I know it's outdated but I just happened to see some of it and wondered if it would be any good to try out

I don't see why not. The differences I see is that black strap molasses is a lot stronger with less sugar.

Per 15ml of black strap. Potassium 450mg, Sugar 9 grams, calcium 20%, magnesium 25%. Salt 30mg.

That syrup says 30ml with a 1/4 of what black strap contains.

that'd be helpful actually in a soil amended with enough cations as is.
BSM has a whoooole bunch of cation-type nutrients that can screw stuff up, especially in weekly doses.
that stuff can build up quickly in a soil when used regularly, and often newer organic growers think they need brewed AACTs each week
