ok so ive been doing some research and want to start an LED grow. I have a few cfl grows under my belt and they worked out okay.

it seems like the best LED lgrow light is this area 51 LED grow light

at least according to other fourms and reviews. that being said and noticing that its all white LEDs, (they make a good point why)
I thought that maybe as a cheaper way of doing things and making it so that LED lights can be used in a more commerical fashion why not just use an LED flood light in the same colour temp as that area 51 light i will do this as an experiament and post results. Im not sure when i will start but ill make sure to keep it on this fourm.

Epistar are basically the cheapest/least effiecent LEDs on the market the A51 uses Cree chips, they are basically the best on the market. That thing also has a very wide light angle, most LEDs use tighter light angles to increase canopy penetration.
