Dont blame your freind it looks like to my semi novice eye. It looks like it might be a ph prob or an N prob. HEre is the thing, i have alwyas found it to be a ph prob ti their is one at all. Within a few days of water with correct ph it fixes itself. The leaves yellow means N def. But you dont want to give N in flower to much. So try the ph water. Measure the runoff. Then maybe make sure you give a tiny bit of N, not over 5 N to your plants. Not an overwater or underwater problem

To my novice eye the soil in picture 5 is dry :)

Just from reading around on this site, some of the leaves will turn yellow during flowering, but i'd say 2-3 weeks is too early for that to be happening to that extent..

I'd try to find a way to test the pH of the water you're using and the soil the plants are in... Atleast get a moisture meter so you know when to water and when not to..
