WOW shes flowering fast!

im growing some AK-48. ive LST'd them from the beginning. they've been growin for a month or so. i decided to go ahead and start flowering them. the very first time i put them in twelve hour darknes was las night. when i turned the lights on i was amazed how many white pistils have popped up over night. boths plants are just covered. last time i grew a plant it took 2 weeks so im pretty hyped that these girls are ready to rock and roll. im using cfl for lighting and fox farm nutes. im going to water them today and give them them their first shot of tiger bloom. hope all goes well! ive included to some pics. i tried zooming in on the hairs but the pics were all blurry.

thats a really nice job on the lst man. lookin really nice there. subd for sure.

Nice job...She was probably pre flowering when you switched which made her pop so fast...Good Luck

im able to get the cfls very close b/c my ventilastion is working pretty good. i only have one fan (exhaust). its a standard oscilation fan (16 or 18 inches). the ventilation is going to an empty space behind the wall and vents to outside. sometimes the plants grow right into the bulbs and the plant doesnt burn (it has happened before though). thanks a lot everyone +rep!.

Forgive me if this is not allowed(not trying to steal thread, just looking for insight), but I just did "lst" to my lady last night (first time grow). I'm using about 200 watts of cfls, how many r u using? And I also am able to keep my light relatively close, 3-5 inches. Here's a couple before and after pics from the lst. What I am wondering is how long to veg her for...............

your plants look great!!! when i vegged i used 9-26 watt cfls (234 watts for 2 plants)
for flowering im using 10 42 watt cfls (420 watts of light) you can get the 42 watt bulbs from 1000bulbs.com $3.40 a piece. there is no certain time to veg. but i vegged mine for a month and a half. here is a small timeline of my plant hope it will help a little

8-13-2010.. 4 days old...this is how my plant started its life. (it started to grow upside down and it almost died.) see how brown the leaves are


9-17-2010...1 month 4 days old... not very big for a month old. i diddnt care though. they were healthy.


9-20-2010....^^3days later^^.... they hit a little growth spirt!!!


9-29-2010...^^9 days later^^.... u can see how much they grew in them nine days. althought the leaves were a little droopy its still bigger....never figured out why the leaves were droopy. later in the day it was normal again. it done it a few times since too. nothing negative from it so im not worrying.

Your plants looks great, glad that little one didn't die and turned into a beautiful girl. I got a few 40+ watts 2700k cfls to throw in with the rest of the 6000k cfls that are in there now, it will be 1:1 ratio of 2700k/6000k lights in there.

Just took a couple pictures........its been about 24 hours since I bent her over then I pushed the spikes further down this morning and she is loving. She is a dirty girl lol

The first 2 pictures are side view before and after 24 hours, the last 2 are before and after back view.

i love lst'ing. there is more involvment with your plants. plus it helps with the height issue. what kind of bud are u growing? i accidently topped one of my plants.lol. it was a few weeks back. i was pinning down the main cola again and i diddnt realize the stem broke. i went ahead and topped it and it responded by growing dramatically. i said "wow". so i decided to top the other one and nothing really happened it just kept up the same pace... how old is she?

She is about 3 weeks old and its white widdow mixed with something lol its bag seed, but I know the grower. I can't help but check on her everyday lol. I don't know about topping since I'm doin lst, seems pointless for me to do it. But at least r accident turned out good lol

here is my first plant...poor thing... it never stood a chance.. all steched out. it almost looks like a horse shoe. it started to bud but i cut it down b/c i just diddnt have enough light and i wanted a "for sure" grow.

i been out of the game for a year and when i started flowering my girls they did the same thing and started budding hella fast.. like 7 days in and already had flower points and stopped the growth..

i liked there urgency to flower for me but i wish they would have grown alot more...

Wow looks like u had the lights far away from her the whole time so she just hella stretched to reach it, but that's just my oppinion lol
I haven't used any nutes yet cause its MG time realeased nute soil. I have some super bloom that I plan on usuing once I switch her to flower but no nutes in veg. I bent her over again this morning. Here's a pic of the new bend and the nutes ill use for flower.

ya with that first plant i had no clue what i was doing. i spontaniously planted a seed. when it sprouted i was using totally wrong lighting and i had it wayyy too far away... i dont regret that plant though. she helped me out a lot for this one.

seems like those other colas are comming along nicely. their growing really fast. next thing youknow u will be pinning them down as well. gets pretty hectic. im done with mine now im just gonna let them be.

is this your first grow? i dont consider that other plant my first grow so im on my first one.
