Wtf is wrong wit my plants and my babies??

Im in DWC, no nutes, just pHed 5.5 tap water

When tha bigger ones were smaller I started trying to nute them, but was told not to, so I stopped and flushed, now just tap water thats pHed. I thought tha new growth was growin healthier, but its yellowin too!, so i dont know whats goin on.

Tha babies are wats trippin me out tho, cuz all Ive been watering them with is pHed water.

They were under CFLs, but I just flipped on tha 600w MH, and they were yellowing like that before I switched to tha MH sp I kno its not heat or light burn

Please help!!!

Thanks:joint:

damn man, well if u nuted then that is prob the problem (even tho u flushed), im not sure how ur watering schedule is but i noticed that when i overwatered my seedling, it turned yellow and started forming really weird leaves..could it be overwatering?

maybe,, im watering them 3 times a day, while they're in their rockwool. Is that too much?? Ive been told rockwool dries out quick so u gotta water em more.

Maybe Ill hold back on watering tha seedlings to once a day, and see if that helps,,

Thanks bro

are you keeping up with the res. it has to be checked for ph and changed reg. i use soil its more forgiving it looks like they were burnt either from nutes or from something getting sprayed on the leaves...oops no reservoir sory

Actually I havent really been checkin tha rez that much since tha roots werent really touching tha water yet. Im bouta check it right now and balance it out.

And yea, Ive changed tha res like 3 times in 2 weeks due to algea until I finally light sealed my buckets, im good on that now.

hey man just quick read through you are in DWC how do you have a watering schedule they should always be in the water with oxygen pumps if the rez temp is above 75 that makes it almost impossible to get oxygen in the water or nutes to the plant 65 is decent 75 being max heat of rez 60 being perfect also could be excessive heat in the air(heat burn) highly doubt its the nutes though i would try to get the room temp around 75 to 80.

Tha water level in tha DWC buckets doesnt reach tha rockwool, so Im top watering them until tha roots start pokin out. Should I jus raise tha water level in tha buckets so tha water's tochin tha rockwool or wat bro??

And there's no way I can lower temps right now, no money,

Am I fucked or wat???

fucked not quite lol when i first do my water level i put the level to where the rock wool is kinda sitting in the water so it does the watering for me when its dry it absorbs on its own and i usually see good roots out the bottom of the pot in the first week and for the temps in your room are you sure they are getting up to the 90's and are you doing your growing in a section not attached to your house(like mine in a shed for example)

here is a pic of my seedling i put in my dwc system less than a week ago and has a little nute burn but i am running about 850-900 ppm of nutes and its great this is why i say doubt its the nutes.

only thing i can think is did you wash those hydroton pellets? cause the dust from new hydroton dissolves into the water if it's not thoroughly washed out. that combined with heat could do some damage

Haha,, appreciate tha reassurance bro,, Ill def raise tha water level, but my tap already comes out at 500ppm, so I was thinkin that might b fuckin wit em too.

And yea bro I gotta thermometer that reads tha temps in my room and my grow tent, so tha temps is definately 90 in tha tent right at tha canopy of tha plants.

Check out my grow n ull see wat ive been threw, its in my sig

Hellz yea I washed tha hell outta em,, with just water tho,, I mighta put some h2o2 to sanitize, but yea i washed em till there was jus a lil light orange comin out tha bottom of tha bucket wit tha holes

damn, that was all i could think of if you're just watering them with pHed tap water. maybe try a drop of superthrive but i'll bet they'll bounce back, i mean aside from high temps there's really nothing you're doing wrong. maybe at 5.5 your pH is a little low though 5.8-6.2 is the best range
