Plants: 2- Sweet tooth, 1- Tangerine Dream, 1- Jamaican D, 1- Original Sour Diesel, 1- Chunky Diesel

Foot print: 2'x3'

Lights: XGS-190, RW-150. Vegged under 17W 6500K LED.

Method: DWC 3- 7.5G totes with dedicated pumps and stones. 2 plants/ea.

Nutrients: Canna Aqua line. Except boost(debating on something else). Current using my left over AN sensi coco nutes... LOL

Just got the new RW light today. The plants have been in the tubs for about 10 days. I rushed putting them in and didn't realize how bad the light bled through. So that and no beneficials and the fact the chunky when i got it was recovering from root rot it reared its head again. So just treated for that two days ago and nothing has appeared to get any worse.

So anyways snapped some pics just to show the two lights side by side. I think i might end up spacing them out a little more and tilted inward.

Damn man! That looks swell!

I wonder if you'll outgrow your cab with that much light? There seems to be lots of light for a 2x3 footprint.

Your new set-up looks great, GK.
You're going to grow some seriously fat buds in there.
Good luck, sir.

150 and 190 in a 2x3?! Is that all the space you have, or by choice? Great light selection. Bet the middle will explode!

By choice. I have an entire bedroom I could use and other closets just figured hey gram/watt is important for optimization. I think grams/SqFt is important as well. So seeing if I can meet or beat my perceived goal of 3/4lb. Which is just based off the 190 harvest and the fact the 150 should have just as good If not better flowering power. So we'll see. Temps are staying around 77-78 lights off and 82 both lights on.

Still recovering from that initial root rot but coming along. Will be 1 week flower tomorrow. The front center(chunky D) and front left(tangerine dream) are the two plants that were affected the most. Sweet tooths are the large plants in the top left and bottom right corners.

have you thought about upgrading your air pumps??stealth reasons??=== to combat your lower DO levels with warmer temps......It's an easier fix than trying to cool your res IMO...

Anyways your girls look good , so maybe I'm just talking out of my ass:P

be safe grower

Yeah definitely going to change out the pumps to something more tried and true. I had a couple HO 6 outlet pumps, but not sure what I did with them. If I can't find them I'm just going to order a new one.

Fluval 50-160 models are hands down the quietest I've found, blew my tetra 100s out of the water

Single output but adjustable too. I got a set of 3 for 60 on eBay.

And the tetra 300 is dual and as quiet with more output as the 100s

How's the Xgs comparing to the rw150? What side do you see more sites, and what side has better development?
To be 100% honest. Neither. So if anything maybe the 150 does what the 190 does, so might save yourself a couple watts. But let me see as things progress and can compare things like density that supposedly 630 and 660nm light promotes. Though I'm not convinced my last round all white was plenty dense. If you look at the tub in the left of the screen it's been under the XGS the whole time and has just as many budsites. the all white might bee a little tighter but not much of anything, though I will say the RW side did seem to stretch more with the flip. That's why if you really look I switched the middle and right tote around so that what was solely under the RW is now in the middle.

So I am looking at Area 51 and was curious if the different colors between the 150 and 190 makes a difference using the 2 together? Should I get 2 of the same? Newb here..

The problem for any company making lights for mj growers is they are R &Ding many months in advance of marketing a new light.

However, the tech breakthroughs are advancing at a quantum rate.

Yesterday's need to combine RW has already been replaced with new ~ 3000K Crees (and others) that pretty much nail what mj wants/needs throughout its' cycle

You pretty much can't go wrong with any A51 made in the last couple years
