Hey guys, starting up a run for outdoors this year got some seeds going currently Brian berry cough, Lemon Skunk, La cookies, White widow, ak-47, Cheesequake, deadhead og. The seeds were started May 5th and about a month from sprout. Starting to see yellow on new growth with very thin leaves and very small. I believe it is an iron issue an have been spraying equinox once a week to see if conditions improve. Im beginning to believe its a ph issue. Just curious if any soil growers would recommend a flush at 1/4 nutes proper ph if that will adjust things accordingly. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated as I am still learning.

Thanks for the reply sub, yea they seem to hit weird spells of yellow new growth then green not sure if slight zinc deficiency seems like epsom salt clears it up right away have been using ro water gonna start using little cal mag in water. Am a new grower and just want the best for them haha.

I'm in the same boat bro! New grower using RO and my girls are starting to show some problems... Here's what I'm dealing with day 30 from seed... Cal/mag issues lower leaves. Your babies look just fine. Start some cal/mag+ now you'll be just fine. 20170613_192258.jpg

You got some killer growth in 30 days, can I ask what nutes youre using? We have beeb avoiding feeding trying transplant fresh soil until they reach final homes 4x4x2 then 3 weeks into that start a regiment. Looks like my plants much lighter green than yours. What strain you got runnin? You preppin her for outside or indoors?

ZERO nutes yet so far. OG Kush and Gold Leaf, all 4 are feminized. I just looked at my journal, they broke the soil surface 27 days ago.

I'm running straight fox farms ocean forest soil. RO water. Now that I see I need calcium/mag so I'm currently adding that to every water. They are in 5 gal fabric pots under 2 600watt Viparspectra full spectrum LED's at 18" Also, 24 hours of continuous light. They have not seen a dark period. Ever.

Nutes are coming soon, Ill use the fox farms trio. At half strength to start. See how the girls respond and go from there.

As you see them that is where they sit and finish their grow indoors. I just put a scrog net in half an hour ago... gonna start bending and training the main shoots and try to fill the screen out a bit before I flip to flower... I'm thinking two weeks hopefully. Just fim'ed them... again. Hoping to get some serious yield off em. GL man. I'd say get some fox farms and leave em alone for a few more weeks, they shouldnt need any nutes for a while. And remember start slow and ramp up.

Here is a pic of the girls and their new screen... all the tops that were bent over 3 hours ago are already back up and reaching for the light! Go girls go!20170614_154939.jpg

I absolutely will once I start to see em! Just put the girls to sleep for 24 hours, 3 minutes ago. Making the 12/12 flip, which will start tomorrow at 4pm. Will keep ya posted!

Sweet creating your own genetics is where its at, id hope to learn more eventually. Running some colloidal silvered gelato crossed onto itself from harborside, hoping doesnt herm on me as ill be outdoors. Any thoughts on this process?

Col silver forces a hermie thats how it works. Quarenteen a plant force the hermie then collect pollen sacks in a bag. Mark the collas you are going to polonate in your tent with a ribbon... Nothing worse than forgetting which flowers were polonated. Use a q tip to pollonate marked colas

Right the process has already been carried out and we have gotten seeds as a result, my concerns are will they be more likely to be herm, are they gauranteed fem still? I popped 15 seeds and 1 looks to be a different pheno pretty awesome. Seeing some weird mutation on one or two.

Yes they are fem. Whatever caused the parents to hermi is more likley to make the offspring hermi. Your pretty safe with silver as oposed to fem seeds created by say a light leak or heat stress.

Awesome thanks man weve been arguing for awhile i kept viewing as inbreeding like humans but recently discovered there was 3 chromosomes for sex in plants lol mind fuck. Keep me posted on your flower be cool to see a unique hybrid. This year i tried a black garlic tahoe og smelled like a juicy garlic clove lol. What cause you to mix those strains may i ask?

Hmmmm i thought they only had 2 cromosomes unless its a polypolidial (sry cant spell) which is another way to breed seedless smoke. Polypolodal have an extra cromosome so they cant be polonated by non poly plants. Suggested reading...Secrets of the Pink Kush
