so my white widow is currently in week 8 of flowering and the buds are still growing getting bigger and fatter. my problem is that one of the fan leafs all the way at the bottom is completely yellow but doesnt seem to be and the stems of the plant are light green but the leaves look healthy...what can this be?

aye its nowt to worry about the leaves on the bottom of the plant can die off during flowering to give more energy to bud production i would prune it off if i were you

got any pics man i'm curious to see how much development you got with 140 watts of hps, i was thinking of picking up a 150 for my mothers

how was the development when you were vegging,

how far were the nodes spaced (estimate) before flowering. was there a lot of streachage?

i am a big fan of the 400 watt but i cant really afford to run 2 400s fans and a t5

and i'm pretty sure 400 would be overkill for my mums

i Would but i use that for vegitating my clones and seedlings

so at this point its between the 150 watt hps system for $80

or a 2 foot 8 bulb t5 for $160

after bulb costs are factored in the hps looks more appetizing but it may be a better idea to go 250 as the 150 watt bulbs degrade a lot quicker due to their low wattage

i have a 6" can fan and im thinking of getting a y fitting and running it from both my lights as an exhaust and i'll have 6" oscillating fans in each area as well

when i started vegging it it was with one cfl and it was nice and compact for like 3 weeks then when i move it to the bigger box i didnt have enough light so it stretched and it stayed pretty small like maybe 10-12" and now its pretty dam tall! i used Grow Big for veg and currently using Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom with molasses. i dont know what amount i give it, usually about a 1/4 cap of the bottle or a little more and i water every 4-5 days with 2 fans blowing on the plant. the cola was loving the 70w hps right on top of it and now there's 2 above it a littler further away plus some soft white CFL side lighting. the box looks like a fire waiting to happen lol, but right now i dont care cuz i havent had any problems. im slowly getting a little better constantly messing with my box doing something new to it. lets see if i can remember to take pics lol

from what i read everywhere...you will be ok. Its part of the life cycle of the plant. Good Luck and Happy Harvesting ;O)
