Yellow bottom leaves at 3 weeks flowering: normal?

My plants are at 23 days flowering, 4-6 more weeks to go. In the last few days, the bottom leaves of both (sour diesel and purple diesel) have been turning yellow and dying...

Is this part of the normal aging process, or could I be over/under watering/feeding? I'm watering with half-strength dyna-gro (3-12-6) on every water, every 2-3 days.

Thanks for any help! More info/pics in my journal:

mines doing the same thing dude. it's normal for them to yellow and die off in flowreing cause they aren't needed anymore. all energy is being focused on the yummy buds

thanks for the reply, and good to hear that. the more i hear it the more true it seems.

i decided to clip some of the yellower/deader ones out...

it seems like there is enough green, especially around the buds, for them to grow...

It's common, but not normal. You won't see a well fertilized plant consume its fan leaves for nitrogen. People will tell you this is fine and natural, but the less fan leaves your plant has the less it can feed on light, which will slow down the process of photosynthesis and effect bud production. A healthy green plant is a fruitful plant.

Thanks for the responses guys.

So it might be a nitrogen deficiency then? Do you think it would help to add a little of my vegging nutes (pure blend pro 3-2-4) to my flowering nutes (dyna gro 3-12-6) when I feed?

p.s. between last night and this morning, another 2-3 yellow leaves are ready to go. If this trend keeps up, it can't be good...
