Ok so I have had these babies for 2 weeks now. Bought both from 2 different dispensaries. The bottom leaves are turning yellowish and dying. Anyone have any idea what is wrong with them ? a ph issue ? I stared clones in 16oz cups w/ FFLW. I transplanted into 2 Gallon pots w/ FFOF. I have only fed water no nutes. I will be putting them in super soil in 2 weeks(if they make it) when its done cooking.

plant 1

plant 2

Im debating just getting rid of them and going and picking up some og#18 seeds.

any help is greatly appreciated.

hard tp say woith out more info. how often you watering. it looks like burn. transplant shock. and overwatering. hard to say. did you have them ionside then put them outside. my guess and its just a guess you took them from cfl to sun. and transplanted doubel whamy. and fox farm might be to strong to the young plants. give straight water after ther good and dry.

You are going to want to feed them once a week... and when you do make sure to balance the pH before watering or you will not get proper growth... it is also a good idea do check the pH of your fresh water mine comes out of the tap around 8.0 and needs to be lowered down to 6.5 to prevent nutrient lockout... that might be what is wrong with your plant along with a nutrient deficiency

Thank you both for the input. This is my 1st grow and I was expecting nothing but problems from clones.I will be grabbing a ph kit tomorrow. I'm using arrowhead water and I've read their ph is 7 so I will lower it to 6.5. Also transplanting the plants 2x prbly stressed them out. I think they got overwatered when I transplanted them.again thank you both for your input.

The brown spots could be from a calcium deficiency... Filtered water has no calcium in it...you can get 5 gallons of filtered water from those machines outside of Safeway or some store like that... If you need more than a bottle...Your plants are begging to be feed... what do you plan to feed them?

Just got done with my first grow (indoors) and now I'm on my 2nd. I will do some indoors and out this time though. I always plant my clone string into FFOF as soon as I get home. So far I haven't had any issues with FFOF yet. If u can it would be better to PH ur water before u water ur plants but I'm pretty sure FFOF has that lime thing which will adjust ur PH for u. It does seem like u have some nuit burn cuz the tip of ur leaves are burnt. I would get a PH tester and PH the water before u feed and just keep an eye on it and see if it gets worst.

looks like some nute splash and normal clone growth and change..those first leaves always die off after cloning..so just pluck them off...no worries..the only other thing it could be is overwatering....so water a little less often for a bit and see if it gets better...it will probably get better either way.

Ill take a few pics of my clones tomorrow and post them or something..I feel lazy right now, but they look much like yours...they are fine..don't worry, before too long you won't even remember these leaves, as long as you don't overwater of over feed

OMG... it's not the yellow death. Your problem is minor. You can save them. There is no need to get rid of them.

and unless you are spraying them with something, does one of those plants have some white stuff on one of the leaves? if so that is powdery mildew...which is no good, but my clones often get it, because a clone is created through stressing the plant enough so a branch grows roots, so clones are very susceptible to any and everything...anyway my clones often have Pm but once they done being clones I never see it again...and I don't treat for it...but once the clones shed the rooting stress and are normally fully functioning plants they can fight off diseases on their own, as long as they are then kept healthy...so keep the plants happy and you will have little trouble...but for real, watch for white powdery stuff on the leaves...make sure that once the plant looks good that it goes away...

and yeah try not to transplant til you see a lot of roots sticking out the bottom of the pot or cup..that is how I do it anyway...

I will be feeding only water and super soil but I will be transplanting them to 7 gallon smart pots in a month or w.e the roots become more mature for the SS. I also saw a few little spider mites/webs so I sprayed with azatrol. I think I just need to leave them alone and let them grow. I just bought some G13 Labs PE,OG #18 and got a bunch of freebies from attitude. Im confident they will recover from looking at other peoples plants, mine look like gold lol some really shitty growers in the marijuana plant sub forum. thanks everyone for the feed back. I will also update this thread so yall can see how they turn out. BTW Plant 1 is Bluedream X OG and plant 2 is Skywalker OG.
