Yellow goop coming from stem that broke?

So I broke the stem where it attaches during tying down 2 weeks ago, I used clear tape.
Now taking off the tape, the other part of the plant looks fine, and the other plants look fine but this where the break happened
is pouring out some yellow stuff, I touched it, its not sticky or anything but it looks really strange? Maybe itll harden completely

Its still kind of soft feeling ish.

It's trying to heal. Like a scab or callus.

Is it cool that i took the tape off now ? Thanks for your response. I figured this much , but ive never seen it like this!

I would leave the tape off so long as the stem is supported such that the wound won't re-open.

Plants are pretty tough. Honestly I have never taped breaks. I usually just leave them alone and they are fine. For example this branch split when I was training before flower, here it was when finished too (after harvest) Buds were just as big and as good as I would expect. So I think your girl will be fine.
