and i was flushing to get the remaining nutes out of the soil so it doesn't taste like I'm smoking chemicals!
you were flushing because that is what someone told you to do, your buds don't taste bad because of using nutes, nutes are actually a cleaner way to grow compared to using animal shit.

to be honest mate i will iv always flushed just the way my old man taught me! but u are obviously a lot more experienced than i am so will defo look into that! so is it bad to flush then?
Flushing is very stressful. This is a topic that gets discussed ad nauseum here. I used to flush too, and because I wasn't doing a great job of drying and curing, it seemed to improve my results. Once I learned to dry and cure better, I found that flushing was not needed and once I was able to keep a plant green all the way through harvest I could see that the results were even better. It was not easy on my ego to admit this, but the science becomes difficult to ignore the deeper you look at it.

A lot of folks have flushed forever and they won't try not flushing because they like their current results. I get that. But it is frustrating when they say it is the best method and they haven't tried not flushing. I can say I have tried many different finishing techniques and I do not see a need to flush at finishing if the plant is healthy.

it is a general misconception that you should pump the plant full of nutes, then try and wash it out at the end, that's not good for any living thing, feed them enough to keep them green and healthy till the end, then dry and cure properly.
If you have grown a great plant, it should be great when dry and just get better with cure.
While I totally agree with not flushing and drying and curing being the key, I must submit Foie Gras as an example of something awesomely delicious, if morally questionable, that comes from pumping something full of excess nutrients.

@Diabolical666 Yup some don't show amber!

My new "Sour Strawberry Illumination" ( A tip o the hat to "Lumi" RIP) does not show amber.......Many long running Sativa's don't.

Here's a first branch end (first branch closest to the soil) sample - just took it yesterday to start the dry and cure as I am eager to try it.....8 plants in Harvest starting Sunday.

It's what we were completing in the "Dam" last winter.

Over 3oz a plant is nothing to be ashamed of. I know people pull a lot more than that, so I guess you're trying to grow as a cash crop? I'm not saying I'd be thrilled with 3oz a plant, but I'd be satisfied with it because I'm growing for myself, 15oz is definitely going to last me until my next harvest. If I was trying to pay the rent slingin' I'd feel differently.

In the last weeks or week of my grow. I've read the yellowing of leaves is normal. I've posted a few photos... Feedback welcomed.. Thanks
It's normal just about everything in nature as far as plants go yellow out before harvest tomatoes and lots of other stuff will do the same thing. They r just sucking all the nitrogen and good stuff outta the leaves to make fruit. Just like trees do in fall. Your plants look fine and u will b pleased just don't mess up when drying and curing it's probably the most important part of everything you've done. I've seen people mess some great looking bud up with a bad dry or cure.
