Yellow Leaves - Need Help

4 weeks into flowering, using fox farms tri-pack along with fox farms flowering nutes, applying every other watering and molasses. The lower leaves are turning a uniformed yellow and eventually falling off. I thought it might be under fertilized but the tips of the newer growth are slightly brown so that made me think over fertilized. The rest of the plant looks really healthy and is budding wonderfully. So now i'm confused, any advice. Ill post pics later, i'm not at home right now.
Thanks

I'm almost four weeks in flower and the buds coming along GREAT but the only problem I'm having is my bottom fan leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I've already lost one leave completely and now she's working on the second one.

I assumed that this was normal and just the plant sucking up the nutes for the buds, can anyone confirm this being normal or do I have a problem

What's up JoeDirt, sorry for jacking your thread.

Peace

Yeah thats the thing, the leaves are not drying up or looking burnt but i have had around 7-10 leaves turn yellow and either fall off or i pulled them off.

I know that the leaves start to die as you get closer to harvest but mine are 5 weeks into flowering and anywhere between 6 to 10 weeks is the usual flower time before harvest and i cant imagine mine will be ready until at least 7wks.
Like you said every thing else looks good the buds look amazing and there are still lots of leaves that look healthy but the lower leaves are the ones turning yellow.
I hope someone with more experience than I, will respond with some advice.
Good Luck

I'm no expert but I wouldn't worry too much. Are these yellow leaves on the bottom working there way up JoeD?

A little bit but they are mostly at the bottom. The majority of the plant is still green and healthy looking but as more leaves turn yellow and fall off at the bottom a couple have been a little higher on the plant.

I think you're just going through the natural progression of flowering. Less nitrogen. Especially if it seems to be mostly at the bottom of the plant. Keep an eye on it. I hope it works out OK, sounds good so far.

Whats your PH if its to low you might be blocking the uptake of nitrogen. I like budding PH at 5.9. Try spraying with nitrozyme directly on foilage and flush start with new nutes. :)

I checked the pH of my soil and its between 5.9 and 6.5. The yellowing of leaves is continuing but it is mostly at the bottom. I did a folier feeding with a weak solution of my veg nute(fox farms grow big-6-4-4). But i'm afraid to use too much nitrogen during flowering and not to mention, i'm using the last stage nutes from fox farms(Cha Ching-9-50-10) and there seems to be nitrogen in it.
Could something else be causing nitrogen lockout, should i try flushing to clear out any salts and then go back to my normal fertilizing schedule? Are there any other possible things that could cause the leaf yellowing. It also seems as though the size of buds has slowed in the last week. The yellowing wouldnt bother me its the lack of growth that is a concern.

my big plant is doing that....i just trimmed the lower fan leaves that are yellow, it looks like lack of chlorophyl, maybe becuase there just not getting nearly as much light as the top of my plant

I flushed my plant today and will give it a few days to dry out and then i will go back to fertilizing. The yellowing has gotten worse and i hope that the flushing will help fix things.
It has to be nutrient lock out, that is preventing nitrogen absorption. I know the leaves will begin to die as it gets closer to harvest but i'm at least 2-4 weeks away and its getting worse.
If anyone else has any ideas it would be appreciated
