This is normal when you use tap water to water the plants, it happens to me too. Not sure exactly what causes it but you don't have to worry.

its perilite, and it turns orange because of mineral deposits in your tap water, like Iron and shit, the deposits settle in to the perlite and oxidise (oxidization is what happens to steel when it rusts) and that is why it has a orange rust color.
