Yellowing Bottom Foliage Silver Haze & Green grape

Both plants are in fox farm ocean soil
both plants receive thrive alive nutes made with 5ml per gallon of distilled water.
Plants are approx 6 weeks old.
I use 6 mixed spectrum cfls
2x3500k
2x5500k
2x6500k 26 watts each
I spray the foliage about 3-4 times a day
once again with distilled water and thrive alive.
I have four 80mm pc fans
2xintake
1xexhaust(with diy carbon filter attached)
and 1x more in the corner blowing on the plants.
The light cycle is 16/8 since birth

The bottom fan leaves tend to get small yellow spots, that get bigger and bigger if left.
Once the leaves start to get yellow enough to bother me when i see it
I cut them off.
Its only the bottom fan leaves
the rest of the plant looks healthy enough.
I checked the sticky but didnt have any luck.
O also the yellowing didnt start until about 3weeks old.
I am almost positive its not from the thrive alive because i just started using thrive alive a week ago.
please help

I actually don't have a ph check thing.

Honestly is it a must have for soil grows?
I do know that the distilled water is exactly 6.5 ph because we tested it once
and i get my gallons from the same place every time so it should be consistent. if i must have one it will have to wait until payday :(:wall:

yes u should always know your ph in the water, and nutes can change the ph up or down,
ugh kk thats understandable I guess
thanks for your help
ill get one as soon as i can afford it
can you recomend a certain one or type?

i was wondering if the ph would affect my clones as well?
I have them in a dwc thing that I made(never done any of this before) its using an airstone with pump and all that jazz
it also has the thrive alive in it.
they have been in there for over 12 days now
with no signs of roots at all
but they look healthy still and get foliage spray just like the moms do
would a heat mat be worth it>?
I have never cloned before and have only grown once previously outside with nothing but dirt and garden hose.

this is what i use it has the color guide on back with directions its called general hydroponics ph tester, costs about 5 dollors and ive never had a prob with it they are liquid drops, and yes for clones im sure the ph matters, dont know much about hydro though, and i meant if ur water is phed at 6.5 and then u add nutes they could nake it go up or down so u always check ph before and after u add nutes

k makes sense thnx for the help
but since the problem started before nutes where introduced
we can assume i have a ph lvl of 6.5 with the distilled water.
the plants have been acting funny since nutes started
mostly just strong and sometimes even sudden shifts in behavior.
for example
my green grape was folded up like a closed umbrella the other day. gave him a little bit of nutes and he jumped up
and all of the fan leaves jumped up within 5 minutes.
as wierd as it sounds the best description i have been using is its like they are dancing
one minute all the leaves face down the next they face str8 up
is this bad? or normal

the dancing started when i introduced thrive alive so that isnt really the question(yet)

im concerned at the yellowing leaves(that started weeks before ever using nutes)
when the yellowing started i was using strictly 6.5 ph distilled water

once i figure out the yellowing issue then i will worry about why my plants like to do the tango

k i will stop using the thrive alive for a while then
the silver haze is in medium sized white garbage can type pot from the hydro store
and the
green grape is in a soil bag
not sure what size
but its well i would call medium
the green grape is just under a foot tall and the silver haze is a little farther behind closing in at 9-10 inches
