Yellowing/ pale green new leaves 4 weeks flowering. all help appreciated

Hi guys, second grow here im a noob. when i first started seeing the yellowing it was on the older leaves around 1 week into flowering. I proceeded to add a little more nitrogen thinking I was deficient in it. nothing changed older leaves kept dying and then the whole plant started to turn yellow slowly around week 2 flowering. clearly I should have come on here earlier but here are some pics of her at about 3 weeks flowering. I decided to flush her today thinking it might be nutrient lockup. (honestly I'm pretty clueless at this point lol) the ppm was high as fk it seemed like. very dirty . kept flushing till it cleared a bit . idk what else to do folks any help would be greatly appreciated ! <3

100% completely common for a plant later in life.

Flushing will make any problem worse. Just give another N feeding as per your schedule.

but shes all pale green. is this normal for all strains? didnt happen my first grow

some lower bud sites are a darker green I noticed. only the lower ones. and i had been giving her a high dose of N recently so its hard to belive im deficient in N at this point.

Im having the same problem I think. For me it started with gradual yellowing from the oldest fan leaves both from bottom and top around wk 3 flowering. I watered once without nutes and it became much worse very fast. I have been upping the dosage since and it seems to have halted the yellowing but not completely stopped it.

its just hard to tell exactly what the deficiency is. I know my ph is 6.5. I know i gave her a bunch of N lately. so what the fuck is it lol. maybe not enough water with each watering ? I do about a gallon and a half

I guess I just don't know what dosage of fertilizer or even what fertilizer is best for her right now. high doses of N? more micro nutes? no fuckin clue. obv she needs some P and K for flowering but yea

Your plant looks hungry and it is right on time for four weeks of flower. There are big changes happening and it needs the N to grow out those buds we are after. Not sure your current nutrient regime but I have really had great success with Jack's Classic Citrus FeED 20-10-20 @ 5ml/gal. I currently do Jacks 321, but the Citrus is much easier (micros are included as well).

why is it hungry though? like I said I've given it plenty of nutes and the ph is fine. I dont get it

I specifically wanted green in flowering so continued to give a lot of N since i switched to 12-12. thats what makes me confused when ppl say its hungry for N . I thought it was something else

I guess you and your plant have a different ideas about the levels of N it requires. It shows no sign of excessive N (burnt tips, clawing and really dark green leaves); it does have light lime green appearance with yellowing lower leaves - classic N deficient.

well I gave her at least a tablespoon of grow fert each feeding per gallon. if thats not enough to keep her from completely yellowing out while still giving P and K then idk what is. I might have to double that? Ill use as much as I have to but I dont wanna push it . I use earth juice if u are familiar

Which EJ product specifically, you got my curiosity up? I have only used their Cal/Mag before but from that I know they do not really give cannabis friendly dosage amounts and tend to be on the low side for our gurls.

Earth juice grow for veg and earth juice bloom for flower

ppl said you can use up to 4 tbsp of the grow per gallon for hungry girls in veg so you might be right that its on the low side

is that what I should do, a full N feeding? becuase there are a lot of purple stems which I heard is a lack of P K

Well if it is the original formula the grow is 2-1-1 and the bloom is 0-3-1. Their own charts show 1 tbs of each for flower with the clause "large and rapid growing plants may require increased rates of grow". I would jack that up to 1.5 tbs of grow and 1 tbs of bloom and see if you get some positive results.
