]My thought now is to let them go another week before I switch to 12/12 and the HSP. When I water them next (within a couple of days) I plan on going with some FF Open Sesame (5-45-19) and Big Bloom (0.01-0.3-0.7) or maybe just water. Any advice out there???
Congratulations you have a girl!

A few observations:

- Try and get the mylar put up as flat as possible - that way you get the most benefit from it.
- When you water your pot, make sure you water the whole pot and not just a little bit in the middle of it where the plant is - the roots go right out to the sides of the pot, you must ensure the whole pot and root zone is water saturated each watering otherwise the soil dries out unevenly leading to future problems.
- Keep your 250w MH about 12-18 inches above the plant canopy;
- You've got more lateral space than height, consider using topping and fiming techniques to keep the height down and allow the plant to bush out, although you may want to trim some of the smaller lower shoots to concentrate more energy on the higher ones. You need to decide on this now as you'll need to give the plant about a weeks recovery in veg before switching to flowering if you top or fim it.
- Stick with plain water at the moment, let the plant use the residual nutrients in the soil and plant tissue - particularly Nitrogen, before you switch to 12/12 and flowering when you can start your bloom nutrients if the plants need anything.

Looking good so far, good luck with the rest of it.

Thanks a ton for the knowledge Babygro…

I’m glad you were able to get the compost mix dialed in and the transplant went well.

I also want to thank everyone else who has provided awesome advice.. you know who you are…

To respond to you thoughts babygro…

- I wish I could get that stuff flat… I’ve spent hours on it.. and have just given up now. Guess it’s better then nothing…
- Yeah I’ve been really mindful of even watering
- See the post on the room below.. I think I’ve got the light about 11 – 14 inches above the plants.
- I like the idea of topping and FIM… but I don’t have the system to cone the top.. nor do I have the patience to wait another week. I think the LST is doing a good job spreading them out too.
- I needed that to check of logic there.. just water with some very low nute FF big bloom.

Here is an update on my grow…

The LST is doing great… It looks like the growth hormones are running nicely in the lower branches. As you can see I’ve been helping the lower branches find the open space to have better access to light. I’ve done this with twine to pull and stakes to push them where I think they’ll do best.

I watered them this morning. It looks like I’m on a 6 day cycle for now. I did go with the FF Big Bloom but it’s 0.01-0.3-0.7 so I figured that it should affect the nute levels. I also trimmed the lowest set of fan leaves and the branches to help focus the energy to the higher branches.

Make sure you vote on my poll at https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/16045-female.html that’s plant #1.

The plan is to go 12/12 with my 250W HSP bulb and start with the FF Open Sesame on next Monday. The left two are plant #1 and the right two are #3.

Today is day 0 of flowering… they are seeing dark for the first time in their young lives. I spent much of today expanding the room and boosting the lumens in there. So I dropped the floor 21 inches and picked up four 23 W warm light CFL @ 1700 lumens each. Check out the picks of the room below…

I also switched to the 250W HPS and started with the flowering nutes. The mix was 4 tbls FF Big Bloom (0.01-0.3-0.7), 1 tbls FF Grow Big (6-4-4), ½ tsp FF Open Sesame (5-45-19). It will be the last time the high N nute is used.

They were looking good and the LST has had the expected results. I sure hope the flowering goes as well as the veg. I’ve been seeing hairs on plant #1… so for those that said female thanks for the good karma.

A quick peek in at day 39... or day six of flowering.

I just watered today and the plant #1 is a little droopy... I'm sure she'll bounce back. I started with molasses today too.

The first pic is the room... then the next two are plant #1 and then the last two are #3.

I need to raise the light tomorrow because I'm out of town until Friday next week and I don't want to burn the leaves.

Well the girls needed a drink when I got home this week. The ambient humidity has increased and it was up to about 80% - 85% this morning. I noticed a small amount of white mold growth on one of the leaves. I sure hope it doesn’t become an issue. I opened the door once the lights came on this morning and that has helped to lower the temp and humidity.

I broke the LCD display on my camera on my trip so the pictures kind of suck… Here an update… then off to see how much it’s going to cost to fix the camera.

I only saw a little bit on one fan leaf, and I just wiped it off. I then increased the ventilation in the room by opening the door. That seems to have worked for me... for now anyway. I would think that if that's not an option, or it you don't think that will lower the humidity, then yes a dehumidifier would be the way to go.

ok so after posting https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/17636-normal-nutes-problems.html#post178395 and getting the bad news from bt dt that the nube can't read an ingredients label... I now have about $60 worth of useless (to me anyway) Fox Farm non-organic nutes on my hands... two plants that I need to flush.. and another trip to the hydro shop to pick up some real organic nutes. I'm thinking the Age Old Bloom because I already have the Age Old Grow in my collection.

What does that make mistake number... oh hell I've stopped counting...

Going on a trip this weekend so here is a quick update...

It seems the water uptake is speeding up. I'm down to 4-5 day water cycles now. Last water was on Monday and I went with just water. Tomorrow morning I'm going to go with 1 tbls each of molasses, Fox Farm Big Bloom, Age Old Grow (12-6-6) and Age Old Bloom (5-10-5) in 1 gal on water.. pH ~6.2.

It looks like plant #3 is getting stretchy... while plant #1 is still more bushy. The buds are forming well though on both. Here are some pics. Left to right... the first two are the room then plant #1 and then plant #3..

Damn, that looks good for 18 days flowering. Is that 18 days flowering or 18 days of lights back on 12/12. Forgive me, I'm still a little confused on how to calculate that.

Thanks Smoker and it's all good... I'm not sure if I'm counting the days how most others do either... but back on 6/10 I turned the lights off for twelve hours and then on the 11th they came on for 12 for the first 12/12 cycle. So it's been 18 days since that 12/12 began. Does that help...
