ok heres my other problem. Being a heavy smoker I will want some bud as soon as I land so I will be taking the usual half ounce on the plane but that wont last me long so I am thinking about hiding the rest of my weed in my items that Im going to ship. I would think a pound would last till I can start harvesting again. I would think leo would be looking for things going out of hawaii not so much coming in. Oh and it may be crazy but the strain im growing now is awsome and I dont want to abandon it so I was going to tack some cuttings wrap the stem in some wet paper towels then into a and. Just toss it in my coat pocket and im set.I just went to honolulu and had no problems at the airport so I think that would work. Any sugestions?

No, they're looking for shit coming into Hawai'i, too. When we flew through they were very concerned with non-native species, really anything that could "infect" the islands. How about you send it via Fedex or UPS?

Man chill. I'm sorry but really. For someone moving to Honolulu you need to slow it down a bit. You can chill a bit without bud or until you find someone dealing. If you have to send some to yourself then more power to ya.

And cuttings in your pocket?? on the plane?? Come on man. Saving a strain or doing Federal Time for having that shit on the plane!!? I mean really.

Yeah, I think UPS or Fedexing something to himself might be a little more prudent, but I am not about to make that call or assume he's not old enough to make his own risk assessments. But, I felt it was worth pointing out that there are people looking for stuff that's not wanted on the islands, for whatever reason.

I have much respect for the islands. I lived in hawaii for years I went to castle high and then moved to hilo and graduated from hilo high. im just coming back home after 20 years away (way to long). I dont want to find a dealer. I dont need to buy weed for 100 a quarter ounce. Plus he would try to sell me ice and ive been there done that no thanks just some pakalolo for me. plus im sure its more than 100 a quatrer now. I smoke an ounce a week so thats to much. Plus all the hastle of finding it and getting it back home with no trouble. I have no concerns with the cuttings. When was the last time you flew to hawaii? Its was a joke. On the plane they wanted me to fill out a agriculture paper saying I didnt have plants etc. I didnt have a pen and the gay flight attendant wouldnt let me he use his and just said dont worry about it so I never filled one out and had not one problem getting in a car and driving away from the airport. Oh and thanks for the advice Im not trying to be a prick but the internet makes everyone look like a prick. Really im a nice guy so please dont take this the wrong way.

Again thanks for the advice. I have been taking my weed on the plane for years all over the country and have zero concern about that. I do really have that down. I dont take more than an ounce on the plane and that will last a week so Im going to put enough to last till I can harvest in the things im having shipped thats my only concern. I dont know what they do to things as they come in from through matson.

I got ya man. I do hate those forms though. Flying back from Portland and I have to do it every time although I ain't got shit. Yeh I guess just send it to yourself. I know personally leaving directly from Maui is real easy to get a way with taking some stuff with ya ;-).

Didn't really mean to attack ya though. Just came out the wrong way I guess.

update to my situation. I got a staph infection from a coral cut. It has hampered my daily maintenance on my girls the past two days. During this time I have averaged a 100+fever over this time. My coral cut came back in July!

Anyway, I do love how my girls are starting to turn all frosty all over and are swelling up:grin: As I write this I can smell one of my girls right outside my windows!

i wouldnt be to concerned coming on the plane with cuttings, id put them right in my pocket with no concern. as long as you dont get the secondary security your fine. look for ssss on your tickets. as for the bud, package it perfect (look on here) and compress it then stick it in the stuff your shipping, hide it good and you will be fine. of course theres a risk but its worth taking when pounds are close to 6000 dollars right now during the dry season, before everyone harvests (outdoors). or you could always just pay those prices and not take the risk, its your choice.

Thanks for the input guys. I hope your doing better puna. The pics look good. 6g a pound wow I think ill take the chance of shipping it. I have a bunch of crap to ship so Ill spread it out in a few of the boxes. Well I think i will I was just thinking that would increase the chance of getting caught. Maybe I should just ship it all in one box? Oh well Ill get it figured out.
