i bought an aero cloner and it didnt seem to work out right because the water temperature keeps changing. i added an airstone to help with the air content in the water thats being sprayed onto the stems. does anyone know if this is helpful or useless?

Keep your water at 72f. You can get a aquarium heater for about $20 at a pet store. That airstone will definately help. Are you using R.O.? What did you add to your water?

i have an aquasana filter, im not sure if its RO or not. it does have a particle, sediment, and a membrane, but the water comes out at about 170-200 ppm. i add 6 drops of superthrive, and a about 3 tblsp of H2o2. the resivoir is about a 1.5 gal (6 litres). ph is about 6.7- 7. im soooo not used to cloning, and i hope im not killing them with kindness.

no solution. just superthrive and peroxide. theyve been in the cloner for about a week, but no luck. i took them out and put in 11 more, but this time i split and scarified the ends like some of the forum post on here have said to do. i dont have any pH down to make it go down to 5.7-6.5 ( which is supposed to be the best as some have said, i may be wrong), so i will have to suffice with 6.7-7 water.

is apple cider vinegar good for lowering ph? i was going to get some for aquariums, but they didnt list what it was that was in it, and i asked if it had a buffer, and they (pet store clerks) scratched their heads and said "no"

You can use any kind of acidic product to lower ph. Some guy on here claimed to use battery acid...whew that stonger than Gorilla Semen huh? I just use the stuff they sell at the hydro place. Lemon juice vinegar muriatic acid should all work ok. Not sure how long it last is the only thang. Make a trip to the head shoppe or the aquarium section of Wally World. I mean if a fish can stand it not sure why a little dab of wacky tobaccy go belly up over it? Am I making any sense here? Pickle juice should work too. Give your stuff an extotic flavor most likely. I would do the Bread and Butter pickles. Those are our favorites. That only thing being if you want pickle juice of course.
