Yet Another Male or Female?

Can anyone enlighten me? These little pistils (I hope) are everywhere between nodes. They look green in the picture but they look whitish to the naked eye.

Anyone know for sure if this is a female/male?

Thank You everyone for your input.

no, those are stem spikes, they have nothing to do with maturity or gender.

in between those spikes and the branch, you should find a small nub. that nub is the preflower, and will either get round, and stick out on a 1-2mm stem and eventually form into clusters, or will have two hairs pop out of them.
