Yield and when to weigh

When should one weigh the bud for weight expressed in yield? I know weed should be dried and probably cured.

I weigh it before the cure, and then again as its passed on.

wet weight, dry weight,then cure

why wet weight? i've really never understood, i get that you can determine when its dry statistically this way, but is it so hard to just feel a bud to tell?

I always weigh after a final trim, right
before i jar the buds for cure.

I.E.
This plant weighed out at 4.42oz
31.5g main

it's fun to use the wet weight when your bragging?

weight just after initial dry before cure eh?
