Its literally impossible to tell you what you will yield. Theres about a billion different variables that determine yield, the strain, environment, feedings, style of grow and everything in between. A pretty good rule of thumb is that you CAN achieve roughly 1gram/watt in IDEAL conditions.

I average just over 2 lbs per 1000w light. If I was you, I would hope for 2-3 lbs of chronic plus a half pound-ish of smaller buds. That way if you end up with 2 you wont be disappointed and if you end up with 4 and 1/2 pounds of chronic you will be happy as hell.

Good luck

1 gram a watt that sucks so if i had 4000 watts i would get 10 pounds? because i have them and i might as well use them see i was going to but them outside if i did that would i really get 900 grams a plant with no problem i live in FL its always 70 to 90 degrees

You will not achieve 1 gram a watt. That is an EPIC grow when you can achieve that, with EVERYTHING going perfect. Half a gram a watt is more normal for an average grow to achieve. You can safely bet you can produce .5 grams/watt.

Hey bigbuds, just because your seed supplyer said 900g per plant, that really doesnt mean shit, they dont say how big, how much light, or how much nutes.

Iv seen 1 plant that cropped 2 lbs dry, it was massive with lots of side lighting.

Just because you have 4 1000w lights that doesnt mean you will get 10 lbs, Last grow I seen with 4000w lights cropped 9 lbs with about 120 plants. Again there are way to many variables, the only thing you can do is go for it and see what happens, its a bad idea to start counting your chickens before they hatch.

Will your advice is good thank you I just bought 4 more 1000 watt hps's and a GEN 1 propane co2 generator so now im going to do 8000 watts in a 12x12 room also for side lighting im using 65 watt CFL's about 20 of them on 12 plants

man 8000 in 1 room is overkill and a waste of space/power. You need 4 on light rails, and you need another room. Run 4000 in 2 rooms at opposite times.

You should seriously do a lot of research, if your claiming to be growing 12 plants under 8000 watts that seems like a crazy waste of light and power.

I suggest doing a LOT of research before buying any more lights or anything, your gonna need at least 14000BTU of AC to keep that room cool even with air cool hoods. And those ballasts are going to be putting out enough heat to heat the rest of your house all winter.

you gona light up a football field?
you know they only intake so much light before they deflect it.
Not gona change your yeild to a super yeild because you have 8k watts.

*12 weeks veg time has doubled my yeilds.

yeah if you want big yields grow big plants. that is veg them longer.

best yields come from outdoor plants (2 pounds a plant is effortless in a full growing season)

who cares if its fake or not.

The fact remains, light is the primary dictator to yeild. You cant increase anything else without the right amount of light.

I agree its overkill and he would kill them before gaining anything with the temp being close to the surface of the sun.

hope ya dont mind if i jump in this thread with a noob question.

its about pot size, does it make a massive difference to the plant if i cant get big old 3 gallon pots while growing a dwarf auto flowering strain?

whats the smallest size pot you can use before your plant gets stunted growth due to this?

thanks for fast reply, its ak 47 x lowryder 2 so am gonna use 20/4 the whole way.

i have 5 femmed seeds 3 of which have germed and just waiting for the next 2 (cross fingers)

the pots i have are a pathetic 2L which i think are just not gonna work

Edit: this is my first grow so sorry for my incompetence.

I also just tested the pots i have by filling them up with water and it turns out they can actually hold 3.5L which is more than it said on the bottom of them.

i know its a litre under the gallon size but im hoping it will be ok since they are going to be such small plants.

also the light its a 400w hps

The pots should be alright, but you will want to flower very young, and to flower you would want 12/12.

20/4 is good for veg, but thats it.

Also if your pots hold water they have no holes in them? You will want to add drainage holes in the bottom of your pots.

ive seen others achieve more than 2.5g per watt.... not everyone begins as a beginner ;)

So wait... now you have two propane C02 generators and 8000 watts of light? That's gotta be one toasty room...

Not to be an ass... but... pics or it didn't happen.

2.5g per watt? Beginner or expert, that is an insane yield. I'd be interested in hearing the details of such a legendary harvest. Do tell...
