Yield question

Is 10 ounces per plant good for a first grow in soil. Buds are average 7 to 12 grams each. I used a 400watt MH and 600 watt hps in flower, they seem to have more trichomes than what I see from hps alone that friends use.

How big are these trees? 2 - 3 oz dry is a good yield from a decent sized plant grown indoors in soil. Double that for DWC or soil ScroG then double it again for DWC ScroG. I've grown 'em all for the last 15 years and that's what I expect and usually get.

I'm running 2 - 400W now in one hood on a light mover. One Hortilux Super HPS and a Gavita. 4 plants that I'm expecting 8 - 10 oz off of. Maybe more if they fatten up a bunch these last couple weeks like they usually do. Got beer can colas on them now.

:peace:

good job! if thats dry weight you exceeded my expectations, if its wet weight you're doing well.
I also run mh with hps in flower for a great exp too.

I'll cut op some slack here. If op vegged that plant long enough...yielding this much isnt a miracle. its all about veg time in my experience, then being able to supply all the resources, difficult sometimes with trees indoors.

pics, details or GTFO

They were vegged 4months, and its wet weight, not smokable bud yet. I only grew main buds kept everything trimmed that was more than 4 nodes down. I i have a chicken house and made my own dirt from last years droppings, compost and topsoil from the rivers annual flood zone and supplemented with FF trio only. I also used 15 gal pots, i was told by an old timer if i gave them lots of root space they will reward me well. We have artesian well water and that's what I use. I am afraid to take pics because goggle puts the location the pic was taken on each one and i don't know how to make it stop, so, that scares the shit out of me since I live in a state that loves to lock people up. I really took my time with them, I a 100%disabled vet and have lots of time to give them all the love they need. Only the wife and I so temps and stuff are really easy to manage. Thanks for the replies, if I can learn to remove the location from pics, I will be happy to post proof. The same old timer told me to leave some small pieces of each bud and feed some nitrogen, put back on 18/6 and they will do even better than before. He does it two or three times and takes clones from the last one. What do y'all think, is he pulling my leg? He's been right so far.

Still no pics??? I call bullshit
Call it what you want, i have absolutely zero to prove to you, i simply asked a question. Just because you couldn't do it, doesn't mean someone else can't, I may have gotten lucky. I researched for nearly a year while recovering from my second stroke, I took everything i learned during that time and put it into this grow. I also had the advice of one of the oldest and largest farmers in the area to help me succeed. This has been the best medicine i have ever used; the people who have helped educate me of the proper propagation of this plant, see first hand what it has done for my recovery.

Nicely done. Long veg though.

maybe try vegging for a shorter period and having more harvests. Usually works out more yield in the long term. With so much time on your hands maybe try going perpetual?

When people talk weight they normally talk dry weight of buds alone which is why you are getting some animosity. Some people cannot read...lol.

Answer to your Q seems to be a universal "Yes".

Good job. Long veg, big pots and natural soil. Some people get their panties in twist when talking about yields.

Anyways you weighed wet and you took your time with the plants. Don't let The name Sayers get to you.

About the gps on your photos. It's very simple to to share a photo without the metadata (details that show your location) all you need is the app "Koredoko" I use it on my IPhone when I don't want my photos leaving a trace.

Happy growing check back with a dry weight if you can.
