i am planting my seeds right now they are big bang by greenhouse. i am planning on growing 6 plants 2 feet tall and was wondering how much i should expect to yield? the big bang is suppose to be around 550 gr/m2. i have a 400 hps and am going to use a metal hallide conversion bulb for veg. i am going to flower when they are about 10 inches. If i can get 6-8 ounces out of this i would be very happy. how much do you think i should get?

Assuming that all goes well and they are all females and you let them veg for at least 4 weeks you should easily get 2ounces dried of each plant

you think they will need to veg for 4 weeks ive heard they are fast growers and im only vegging until they are 10 -12 inches. and they are feminized seeds so hopefully they are not any hermies.

If you want to get 6-8 onz of dried bud from them and you have to assume that probly unless they are femmed seeds that at least 1 of them will be a male,ive seen people plant 10 seeds and get 10 males poor buggers, then i rekon you will need to veg for about 4 weeks to get the amounts your talking of from only 6 seeds,if you veg till they are 12" tall you can expect at most 18" of growth but more likely nearer to 12".

If your lucky a 12" stem of bud thats grown quickly with little veg time and no topping will yield dried only about 20 grams or so depending on the strain and how fat the bud is.

If you veg and top the plants for 4 weeks you can get say 3 or 4 tops at least per plant instead of one and get more weed for your time and effort for only waiting a couple of weeks more

Some how i cant see u getting what u are expecting
If u are only letting these veg untill they get to 11" i think u should set your sights on a oz mark and any thing more is a bonus
i thought the aim from vegging your plant for a week or 2 just was so that u could get a hole lot more plants fitting in your room in smaller pots

i can only fit 6 12x12 pots and the strain is a very high yielder. The grow video on the web they grew one about 3 and a half feet and got like almost a pound off of it. i dont expect that but i should get a good amount if it is the high yielder its suppose to be

but even if i only get an oz from each plant i will be happy

what is a typical yield of a regular plant, no special seed, using Compact Flourescent Lights?

dude your not gonna get 6oz.or an oz per plant be real...your goona get 2-3oz tops im saying 1 1/2oz because your a nooby

ive grow 5ft trees that yeilded only an oz so exspect much less

my last grow under cfl from bagseed i got more than 2 oz off one plant and that was only a 3 1/2 foot plant. now i got a hps i think i can get atleast an oz off each one. if this is the genetics it is suppose to be. Its yield is suppose to be bigger then big buds yield

If i grew a 5 foot plant and only got an ounce i would be seriously pissed

Did you say you got 2 oz. per plant with CFL. Now you get 1 oz. per plant using HPS? Are your numbers backwards? CFLs are weaker, right?

Probably happened because the veg growth was good but there was insufficient light for the flowering

no thats what im saying this is a high yield strain and i got an hps now so i think i will get atleast an oz from each one maybe more from each plant.
cali said my hopes were too high but i think if i got that much from a bagseed plant that was only a foot and a half taller then these will be and i got a 10 times better light. i only vegged the bagseed for a month.

If your getting a oz of a smaller plant using cfls just and this time your going 2 use a hps with better seeds mybe and letting them grow a bit more

Interesting to read I'm at the same stage and have Supergirls Fem Seeds currently in veg will give them another three weeks they are now on 24 hrs light,

Now like youself this strain is listed as a high yeild, simular to yours but i running only five plants and was going to flower them at when about 8-12 Inches tall.

I hope to get at least 2 Ounces of each plant giving them all the time they need if I don't i will be a little bit disappointed. Let me know how you get on and in turn i shall let you know how mine turns out,

Its not greenhouse seeds fault really,they do not send dud seeds on purpose,not all seeds will germinate and they cannot tell which will and which wont.

When you buy seeds you just have to hope for the best,1 packet may yield 10 perfect females whilst another may only have 3 that germ and they may be all males,its a hit and miss game.

If you email them and complain they may even send you some more

Now that's what i call a successful grow so a high yield is possible if done correctly.
