and for the last few rainy days, i have had a tarp over my two jack herers. its one pm, as i write this, and the weather map is calling for thunderstorms, and winds up to 35-45 mph, in a few hours. well, i have the green stretchy tape, around the plants, and tied to the fence they are against. now, to go out, and see if i can put the tarps back (let em out, to get some sun), and secure em, to they dont blow away. if i can get thru this week, i think next week is suppsoed to be nicer. im hoping to end em about halloween. they are turning purple now....

I guess I am one who never even paid attention to the weather till I was growing..(veggies) amazing to see how many of our ancestors lived by knowing the seasons...

makes me realize how insignificant I really am...

Seems a lot warmer today than it has been here in Seattle, hopefully it'll stay like this for a few more weeks. Fall is here though...

I've only heard negative things about outdoor growing here, people say small buds and too wet...haven't tried it yet outdoor myself though. How's your experience?

well, last year was my first single plant outdoor. a jack herer. i figured, it was maybe the fastest finisher of what i had. including godbud. i harvested on the 19 of oct, and got 13.5 oz of cured bud. i noticed no difference from outdoor on this strain, to indoor. next year, im going to try something that finishes even earlier. like aurora indica. look for early finishers. this is the key, to makeing it in this climate. they love the climate. just the early falls take their toll, if your strein still has to far to go.

You like Jack Herer I take it? :D The seeds from Greenhouse seeds or a diff breeder? I had some from a diff breeder before but next season i wanted to give GH's strain a shot.

I've been trimming fan leaves and chopping the past 3 days. Mold season is here. Trichs are cloudy with a hint of amber. We've had a GREAT season!

Alaska sucked. First time since 1964 I did not have anything outdoors. Even the worst summers in Montana I got something grown outside. Wet all summer, flooding rivers until just last week!!! The Kenai Peninsula is a nightmare.
