I think that would scare ya!!! Heart beating right out of your chest adrenaline rush! Probably had to roll up a big spliff after that to calm your nerves, then another a couple mins later cuz you couldn't stop worrying.
Even though you are legal, can mean old cops still chop em down and say "whoops, this guy is legal" and take off leaving you with just a bunch of stumps?

Also I wonder why they would be making rounds when its getting dark out. I think it would be very hard to spot weed from the air when the sun isn't out.

that sucks dude,but honestly it looked like a crop of corn,but ur not in the midwest,ur out west,do u got a med card?throw a top on for the night or a transparent top on top to hide and give enough light to the plants,it will just look like a few party tents if u do it right.

100 sq ft ... thats a 10' x 10' area .. does that mean the roots have to be within that area .. cause I bet your plants exceed 10' wide before they are done

its actully the nitrogen that creates the heat... its in the fan leafs which soak up sun all day & the nitrogen keeps them hott for a long time, while all other plants will look normal , infared will see plants at night easily ...

the heat isnt what they use to identify the plant, although they do use infared, when the light wave from the sensor hits some ganja it shows up different on the scanner as opposed to other green leafs

not exactly sure why though something to do with the composition of the leaf

that's f'n crazy.... Good luck, hopefully it's nothing. I def. wouldn't count on it being feds, and they never flew directly over your house. Whats up the road a little where they were flying. At least the plants you grow look more like TREES so maybe they didn't notice.... lol

With all the other greens growing around the marijuana covering and blending with it theres no way they can use a sensor to detect an outdoor grow. They see a path or trail or even someone and thats how u get caught.

It looks like the chopper was just covering ground units at a crime scene off in the distance, and then came back later to possibly help look for a suspect or something they missed the first time. It doesn't look like the chopper is looking at your house FDD.
