You Guys Pick The Strains For Me

This year I'm changing things up. I want you guys to choose which strains I will do something specific with for this upcoming grow. I'm having a tough time deciding which ones I want to pick for what so do help me out.
For this grow... I will be putting somewhere between 30-50 plants outside as soon as there is enough daylight to sustain vegetative growth throughout the summer. But that wont be for a little over a month. So during the time I have to wait I will be putting whichever strains get chosen here in a Veg cab until the time is right to put them outside. I am in a sub-tropical climate so temperatures are extremely mild right now its not the temps that stop me from planting outdoors just yet its the photoperiod. Anything that would be out right now would be triggered to flower due to the lack of sunlight in the day. Based on past experiences of doing this, the plants that veg for the month before going out have a huge head start and all summer to remain growing until late season and flowering. These Plants Will Be Big.

So with all that being said what I need is:

  • A pick of two strains from the picture/list below, and your pick of any strain available, for example; your favorite strain, or a strain that intrigues you. Anything you'd like that would be available for me to purchase from a seed bank. (These strains are the ones I mentioned above that will be put in the Veg cab ASAP for a jumpstart to the season resulting in true monsters by late season.)
  • A pick of one strain from the picture/list below with another strain of your choice available for purchase (These strains will be used for breeding. First I will do a normal breeding run crossing your pick of one of my strains with your pick of any strain you want. I will then continue into more advanced breeding producing Feminized Seeds of the new strain. Finally, that strain will need a good name. So, we can get together on this one and come up with something killer. Anytime someone from here asks me about the strain I will state that you were the one who chose the strains to cross.

In Simpler Terms:

  • Three Total Picks of My Strains - Two to turn into Giants, One to use in breeding a new strain of Cannabis
  • Two Total Picks of Your Choice- One To make a Giant, One to use in breeding a new strain of cannabis

Here is a list and picture of the strains I have to work with this year:

-
Fools Gold
-Strawberry Cough x Durban Poison
-Huckleberry x Strawberry Cough
-Strawberry Cough
-Zulu Skunk x Wild Thai
-Hashplant
-Strawberry Cough x Jack Herer
-Crossroads Sativa
-Griego Del Oro (Sativa)
-Malawi Gold(Sativa)
-Great Northerner
-Afghani
-Snowdawg 1 x Snowdawg BX
-Zulu Skunk x Thai

Also this thread is open to discussion about breeding, favorite strains/latest hottest strains out, outdoor monster plants/ feminized breeding or anything growing. this is a thread that is a friendly place where discussion is welcome and where anyone at all can come and learn. Questions about anything are more than welcome here.

-Thanks All ...........-Gman

Assuming you've grown these strains before, how was the strawberry cough? I've got raspberry cough going now, never had the pleasure of tasting this strain yet. Also, I was planning on picking up some Malawi gold with my next purchase. What's your review on that strain? I'm hunting for good landrace genetics to use for breeding. I've got some afghani #1 seeds too.

That hash plant sounds good too, along with the Zulu skunk x Thai. You got a nice list there. :bigjoint::weed:

Strawberry Cough you may be able to tell is a favorite. I now have 4 crosses with it :) I have a great pic of it 55 days into flower as well. Ill post it on the bottom.
Malawi is the best suited strain I have for the climate I live in. Well actually a few of these strains are perfect for my climate, but the Malawi just thrives like no other man. I have not yet tried it indoors though. I am always on the lookout for good genetics as well man, I am steady on the mission to breed the perfect strain. Not just a high THC content, but a strong line of, hardy, flavorful, potent, and high yielding plants. Its gone beyond just breeding to make seeds for me these days its about creating that "go to" strain that you know will perform every time for you. Idk maybe I'm just going nuts hahah :D

I'm with you 100% on breeding for quality, stable genetics versus a super high thc content, although I'll be secretly working on a one two punch strain :bigjoint:! I had two bagseed plants hermie on my last run that pollinated the entire room which also contained some good genetics including og kush and amnesia haze. I'm growing out some of the seeds from both of those strains and it's pretty interesting. They have the nice growth of the bagseed plants while also keeping some of the original genetic structure of the original seeds. I'm hoping they produce well like their mother's and I'm curious about how their aroma's, bud size, and taste will be affected. The bagseed plants have a mellow buzz which lasts around 45min to an hour and average size colas, although one of them had 4 of the biggest colas of the entire harvest. The og and amnesia haze however last up to 3 hours and both had very nice colas.

Well, hopefully I'll be as happy as you with the raspberry cough and I'll definitely get the Malawi!

That plant is beautiful! :weed:
