The problem IS the republicans. They won't be the solution. They win by dividing the dems. They win because a large majority of the dem party doesn't vote or votes for fringe candidates, and a lot of those who did vote in 2008 and 2012 would only vote for one candidate. That coalition was temporary. It's gone, those voters are not interested in white politics.

Sanders is old and has the policies of an old white male liberal who still believes as Kennedy did, that a rising tide lifts all boats. While everybody want's better economic income, Sanders policies, the ones he preaches every day, don't address race and gender based economic or social inequality. He's good, just insufficient. And too old to change his ways. I agree that experience is valuable but there is a diminishing return in that. Sanders is well past it. I wan't to see the next generation step up.

I haven't voted since blowing my vote on W pre 911, but since trump was not a politician, I was hopeful. The problem is even his own party is against him, as they re more comfortable in the status quo. It appears the swamp may never get drained, meaning we are all fucked as the deep state is creating more surveillance and will chip us to do everything from depositing fiat money into fiat accounts.
