This is what I do in my setups. I buy some white polypropolene plastic or now you can buy the same materials in grow tents by the sheet. Place it over the top of your growing (pots or Hydro) cut out the holes when the plants come through and whamo light now reflects back up into the plant. Why waste the 6 inches or more beneath the plant, reflect the light back up. Also, get yourself a warming blanket you can find them in stores and put them under your setup. It keeps the floor warm, especially in wintertime.
