Young Seedlings - Slow & Odd Growth

Hello RIU members,

This growing session I started a four weeks ago is off to a rough start. First 3 weeks was one plant that ended up male.

Now I am one week into my next set of seeds. Well one is one week, one is 6 days, the other is 3 days old. The two youngest ones I can understand odd growth because they are bag seed and good easily be genetics, but my Green Poison seed that my friend gave me still packaged and everything, seems to be doing poorly as well.

Here is the green poison Day 7 She is sitting at only about 3-4in tall and maybe 2in across.





Here is random bag seed number 1 (R1) Day 6 She is sitting at only 2-3in tall and 1in across





Here is random bag see number 2 (R2) Day 3 She is sitting at around same size as R1 but looking poor.



Let me know what you think, and let me know if you want better pictures. I didn't realise how bright they were on my phone.

So you think it's a medium problem? I've used both of my medium mixes with success before.

Any other thoughts?

Anyone have any thoughts, they haven't really gotten too much bigger.

looks fine to me apart from the 2nd bag seed.

probly not alot you can do for it when its that small it could grow out of it.

iv had a couple of shitty looking seedlings that look perfect after a few weeks

alright thanks, thats reinsuring

Mine did the same as yours are doing for 4 weeks now in the last 2 weeks they have grown a foot and really filled out and look great now. I was thinking of giving up on them and starting over glad i did not do that now so hang in there with them for a while.

I also went to a small grow tent and changed my lighting to a 110 watt t-5 light and still can not believe how they have grown in just 2 weeks. My tent is 32" x 32" x 4' and all is going great. Good luck and give them a little more time you might get some good results before it's all over with.

This has a lot to do with how early or late the seed casing comes off of it as it emerges. It'll be a super plant.
