Your dream 4x4 set up

I'd just like to hear what people think the ideal setup would be.

What would you do given the opportunity, and say 2 grand to grow at it?

It depends on your idea of ideal really.
One guy might want the most efficient set up possible and opt for lots of Samsung strips ran soft but costing plenty.
Another guy might want the cheapest set up that still has good efficiency.
The difference is running something that's 160-180lm/w or 200lm/w


Or
A guy who loves to build and already grows so has a good wedge of cash and doesn't mind spending it
vs
The new guy who has no grow and money is tight.

Or the DIY guy vs off the shelf ready to hang..

Different strokes for different folks.

Let me clarify, I want to know what you guys would personally do with a space that size.

I would like to know what the communities individual's "dream" environment and grow method.

630CMH with the space adequately ventilated and cooled. Organic soil.

Gorilla Grow 4x4 w/extension
600w of F strips or equivalent of quantum boards
8 inch Hurricane 745cfm fan w/controller
5 photoperiod plants in 5gal coco, drain to waste
Plants in X pattern, topped and scrog

I wouldn't do this in reality due to plant count and jail time.
But if legality wasn't an issue and I only had 4x4 foot print to work with..

4 walls of 60 clones per wall in hanging bags. Drip fed with hydroton as medium.
4 hlg 320xl kits or equal strips welded together at the heat sink to form a square which would be air cooled and hung vertically.

I'd like to know this as well OP. I have a 4x4 veg tent I am about to convert to a flower tent.With all the options out now, it's hard to decide. I already have a 4.5x4.5' flower tent with 720 watts of cxb 3590s in it.

Qb's or Strips? Will also be getting. 2x4 tent for the new veg. Considering a new build for that one also, as opposed to using the off the shelf veg light which is now in the 4x4 veg.

Me I'm between making a diy qb120 fixture, 1 board per sq ft ran at 50w each.

Or

An f series strip build.

600 ppfd veg, 900 ppfd flower either way.

But my guilty experiment might just be a 4k growers choice 315 cmh with 4 surrounding growmau5 pucks in the corners ran at a max of 100w each. (I'd be able to hard change the spectrum between all the bulb choices. The 10k finishing bulb in the last couple weeks interest me.)

Being able to control everything would be my dream environment.
Once you know you can control temps and humidity, the rest is pretty easy. Whether that be through DIY or off the shelf, or a combo of both. Get those two in check and the rest will fall into place.

You have me thinking about an nft/coco dtw vert hybrid now... not sure if I'm happy with that or about to decend into some craziness in the future lol


And I think the goal of most rooms is to have environmental contol, just takes time to dial in personal needs.
