your thoughts on cabinets?

Hi RIU! This is my first time making an actual thread here though I've been lurking around reading for a while. I wanted to know what are your thoughts on the premade grow cabinets? In peticular I'm thinking of buying this one http://www.dealzer.com/cash-crop.html The site is what used to be a different site but the old one got shut down or something. I'm looking for something thats small like that, that will only do a couple/few plants at a time and will be discrete. I could go with a really well known PC grow box that looks like the tower for a desktop computer but its another 200 more and smaller.

Does anyone have any experience using these, do you know any other small ones around this price range? (links?) Thanks everyone!

Better off using that box for a mother and clones. 3 spiral cfl's aren't going to grow much of anything. there is only about 1ft of growing space when you factor in the space those lights and bucket take up. check out grow tents

yeah doesnt look like it would do much and isnt worth that much money. i have a bigger tent 3x2x2.5' and a pg-180 led and it was close to 400. the led will do alot better than the cfls. you can get cheaper lights than leds you can still use cfls a high wattage cfl isnt to expensive around 80 dollars. and grow tents arnt that expensive ether. you would still need a fan and nutes and what not but i think if you found the best deals around you could get a much better tent for that price if you put one together your self.

okay thanks everyone, I'll keep looking and I'll check out the grow tents, and actually I might just make a box myself a little bigger that can fit my needs. I have been looking for a project to do and I can probably do it a lot cheaper! my only issue is how to create or where to buy smaller fans and a small carbon filter like what you see in that box, any ideas?

My ebay centrifugal fans work fine. If you have a tiny grow a duct fan will work. For a beginner tent/lights look at Virtual Sun.

For a smaller tent, maybe a 4'x4', what kind of wattage do you think I should go with? maybe 400? liken the four theme lol. Also what kind of lights are good for that small area, and lastly I'm sure this is asked a lot but I can never seem to get the information just right in my head. What kind of lights should I use through veg, type and wattage, and then what type of lights for flowering? thanks again. I looked at the virtual sun sight and they have filters and everything there so if I like the prices I might be buying from there!

3x3 400 hps/mh magnetic. 4x4 400-600. 600 you are gonna have to move more air to cool. 600 is the most efficient.

build your own.. take your time do the research, shop around , be smart about it and you will pay less than 1/8th the price of what that ripoff is.....
