1) you can get much better lights but that will be enough to teach you, your first grow

2) miracle grow is garbage :( there are much better ones out there. for some reason weed doesn't grow good in miracle grow

3) i like distilled water

4) painting the walls white is actually more reflective and much better than aluminum foil

5) great ventilation, enough said

lights will work for veg.
mg soil will work. be carefull not to over water. I like black gold coco blend atm.
I use tap water for the most part.
I don't like foil. Get a few space blankets at your local sportinggoods store.
nutes. I like alaska fish fret. but the smell could knock a buzzard off a shit wagon.

1.Nice, well wen i re-pot what kind of soil do u suggest i use.

2. how will i actually know wen my plant is in its Veg-state and how many hours during the veg state should i leave my light on the plant

-i know there plenty of threds that tell me how to this but it never hurt nobody to BE sure.

WOW!!! You weren't kidding when you said your a newbie.

You really need to go out and get a book that's talks about indoor growing.

Eventually you will be very disappointed with this site in the state of mind that your in. Most people on this site, don't know what the hell their talking about.
And the ones that do, really don't have the patience to take you by the hand and guide you until you know how to grow.
I'm sure you have a ton of questions, Most of your questions will be answered soon as you get a book on indoor growing.
In these books you'll learn why:
Light is important
Water is important
Nutrient is important
Ventialtion is important
Soil is important.
What to buy, and what not to buy.
How to build a grow room.
My suggestion:
Jorge Cervantes Grow Bible.
