Hello fellow growers. This is my current grow. After two failed attempts with indoor growing during the winter i decided to take it outside.

There are 26 plants sprouted from bag seeds(genetics unknown, really good smoke though). Initially i started 30 indoor under 250W MH around 16th of April and planted directly in soil on May 1st. The pics are from May 25th. They had a slow start, little rain and being dug up by animals... i lost 4 this way, but the weather is ok now, raining once every 3 days.

What do you think? Any advice is welcomed.20130525_133352.jpg20130525_133743.jpg20130525_133748.jpg20130525_133755.jpg20130525_133806.jpg20130525_133812.jpg20130525_133839.jpg20130525_133843.jpg20130525_133909.jpg20130525_133916.jpg20130525_133947.jpg20130525_134001.jpg20130525_134009.jpg20130525_134014.jpg20130525_133728.jpg20130525_133649.jpg20130525_133344.jpg20130525_133417.jpg20130525_133424.jpg20130525_133438.jpg20130525_133521.jpg20130525_133529.jpg20130525_133550.jpg20130525_133602.jpg20130525_133611.jpg20130525_133618.jpg20130525_133625.jpg20130525_133632.jpg20130525_133639.jpg20130525_134039.jpg

Hey Beast! Thanks for dropping by. I plan on going with No Stress technique :D. I tried topping and LST with 2 indoor and one outdoor grows a few years ago and i just decided it is not worth the effort(for me at least). I will let them grow naturally :). I love a nice Big Fat main cola.

There are enough plants there to satisfy my needs. If i take the 50-50 male to female ratio i should have 13 females in the crop. 5 girls already showed sex. Fingers crossed :D.

showed sex already?? weird :P but u should get some green chicken wire n roll it into cages n ziptie wooden stakes to them, home made cages in 5 mins pluss keeps them plants from digging in your plants. add some mulch couldnt hurt. nice garden otherwise

Expect the worse imo, last year I got 18 out of 25 males, and lost a few to bugs and animals. This year I planted way to early, I did about 50 hoping for 10 or so good ones, I have like 20 out of 50 left due to some terrible spring weather and they arent sexed yet. Just keep in mind anything can happen.

Hey kush plant. Thanks for dropping by. I had the same reaction when i saw the pistils. And strangely the females seem to show first, when usually males are the ones who flower earlier.

I had the sprouts under 14/10 light cycle . When i placed them outside there were 14.3 hours of daylight. From what I noticed the full sun gave them a shock for about 2 weeks since i didn't introduce them gradually to natural sunlight(i thought it wouldn't count that much since they sprouted under a 250W MH, but i was wrong). Now the day is 15.4 hours long, and should reach 15.7 by June 21st summer solstice. Should be enough to keep the vegging going. One plant keeps flowering though and it is only 10 inches(20 cm) tall.

Hey
deePTokEn! Thank you for the good thought. Same to you my fellow man.

Last but not least Thanks DankBudzzz. I dont have high (get it?) hopes for this grow . I prefer to keep my expectations low and get mezmerized in the Fall. :weed::shock::hump: But i have a good feeling about this one:joint:
Too keep things going i will show you my first outdoor grow and also some indoor pics... if i can find them :DDSC03771.jpgphoto 007.jpgphoto 002.jpgDSC03979.jpgDSC03971.jpgDSC03897w.jpgDSC03887.jpgDSC03865.jpgDSC03847.jpgDSC03783.jpgDSC03776w.jpgwwww.jpg20121102_181248.jpg20121102_181405.jpg20121102_181512.jpg20121102_181641.jpg20121102_181707.jpg20121102_181818.jpg20121102_181902.jpg20121102_181912.jpg20121102_181937.jpg20121102_181148.jpg20121102_182012.jpg

Nice pics man, you should have a decent harvest if things go your way. I too would put up some chicken wire, even with my chicken wire, rabbits and coyotes are all over my grow everytime I go out, I always leave one bag of soil without a plant in it on the outside of my cage and it is torn to shreds everytime I visit, they did manage to rip the cage open and dig up some plants a few times. Gl I will be watching.

Hello fellow growers. It's time for a lil update. Went out and checked my crop today. Out of 26 plants i have 13 confimed females :D. I guess i reached my target.
If there are any more females it will be a bonus. :D They aren't growing as fast as I expected, but i guess i'm comparing this with my indoor grow... More light indoor....
They seem a little hungry... i have to give them some nurishment. Have to look for something thats slow release and can be spread on surface.... Rain will do the rest..I cannot get so much water there...
Here are the pics... It's been exactly one week since the last photos...20130601_182346.jpg20130601_182619.jpg20130601_182625.jpg20130601_182650.jpg20130601_182656.jpg20130601_182701.jpg20130601_182719.jpg20130601_182733.jpg20130601_182743.jpg20130601_182754.jpg20130601_182800.jpg20130601_182808.jpg20130601_182814.jpg20130601_182913.jpg20130601_182607.jpg20130601_182600.jpg20130601_182316.jpg20130601_182358.jpg20130601_182411.jpg20130601_182421.jpg20130601_182426.jpg20130601_182434.jpg20130601_182448.jpg20130601_182457.jpg20130601_182507.jpg20130601_182515.jpg20130601_182527.jpg20130601_182546.jpg20130601_182553.jpg20130601_182935.jpg

Looks good man, any nutrients at all will definately help and the more water the better. I know it's hard to get there at times to water but it'll be worth it if you can. Those will blow up soon, there is 100 times more light outdoors then indoors, they hsould veg for another two months depending on where your at.

Hey Dank, thank you for the good karma. When i said there is more light indoors what i was actually thinking was that I had more hours of light, 24/0 , 20/4. The full glory of the sun does not compare with any man made bulb. :D

I looked around and came to the conclusion that i may have a Nitrogen and Phosphorus deficiency. I'll try to get some fertilizer pellets there next week, maybe 10 litres of water with liquid nutes in it. I dont think it will be enough but i'll start watering the confirmed female plants first.

Hey fellow growers! Time for a little update. It's been a week since the last set of photos. Things seem to be going well. A little slower than i would like but ... hey... there is still a lot of time for vegging. We had cooler weather than usual... lots of rain and 12 degrees celsius during the night , 28-30 during the day. But the good thing is its been raining every 2 days. I went ahead and bought some fertilizer, with N-P-K 13-10-17 and other micronutrients. It's for vegetables like tomatoes and bell peppers. Its the best i could do. Spread it around the base of the plants... you can see the small pebbles in the pictures. Hope this does the trick. The the lower foliage seems a little pale. All i need now is more rain to disolve the fertilizer. Still have 13 females. Others did not show sex. It seems I have a purple plant there. I really like the red stem. Hope its a female... did not show sex yet.
What do you think?20130608_185608.jpg20130608_185355.jpg20130608_185411.jpg20130608_185420.jpg20130608_185434.jpg20130608_185440.jpg20130608_185453.jpg20130608_185504.jpg20130608_185512.jpg20130608_185520.jpg20130608_185532.jpg20130608_185540.jpg20130608_185549.jpg20130608_185618.jpg20130608_185628.jpg20130608_185703.jpg20130608_185710.jpg THe purple plant20130608_185350.jpg20130608_185338.jpg20130608_185109.jpg20130608_184806.jpg20130608_185010.jpg20130608_184826.jpg20130608_184858.jpg20130608_184921.jpg20130608_184930.jpg20130608_184937.jpg20130608_185559.jpg20130608_184944.jpg20130608_184955.jpg20130608_185001.jpg20130608_185020.jpg20130608_185034.jpg20130608_185045.jpg20130608_185100.jpg20130608_185446.jpg20130608_185717.jpg

Things looking good, seems that you didn't really dig much of a hole for them? They blend in so well, gl and keep it green.

Hey Dank. Thanks for dropping by. When i transplanted the girls outside i did not have the necessary tools to dig big holes, just the size of the container they were in. The soil is dark and moist though, found lots of earthworms during the transplanting... so this should be a good sign. Peace

Have any of you guys had issues with hail? We had a hailstorm here today... it was preety rough... high winds and about 40 minutes of hail... 1-1,5 cm big... I don"t know the extent of the damage but i"m kinda worried.:S... i cannot reach my crop this week...

Eek, I had a very short hail along with frost that killed most of my ladies, I would expect a few casualties and they will stunt for a bit but I'm sure not all of them died, hope for the best, expect the worst! GL

Hello fellow growers. Time for a weekly update. It"s been a week since the last photos... Things seem to be going well. The hailstorm didn"t do that much damage... just a few leaves... Plants are growing nicely. Since i gave them nutes they are starting to grow nicely... getting bushy. I have all sorts of plants.... short ones... tall ones.... lime yellow, green, purple, wide blade... narrow blade....bushy.. stalky....you name it. I know for sure i have some White Widow and some Blueberry there but the seeds got mixed up with the bagseed and i don"t know which is which.
Here are the photos... Hope you like them...20130615_151126.jpg20130615_151421.jpg20130615_151534.jpg20130615_151640.jpg20130615_151712.jpg20130615_151718.jpg20130615_151800.jpg20130615_151912.jpg20130615_152005.jpg20130615_152106.jpg20130615_152112.jpg20130615_152120.jpg20130615_152350.jpg20130615_151335.jpg20130615_151329.jpg20130615_151144.jpg20130615_150516.jpg20130615_150323.jpg20130615_150438.jpg20130615_150454.jpg20130615_150523.jpg20130615_150640.jpg20130615_150714.jpg20130615_150814.jpg20130615_150845.jpg20130615_150917.jpg20130615_150938.jpg20130615_151015.jpg20130615_152420.jpg

looks like you have some nutrient problems or overwatering. the yellowing and the canoeing of the leaves.

Nice plants otherwise 8)

It rained like hell these past few weeks... i can't say i mind.... the weather is usually hot and dry... the plants have strong roots so they can take water from the lower layers of soil. They should be ok with less rain from now on... which is what will happen. So spot on the problem Beast. ;) i also gavem them a feed a week ago. Solid nutrient pellets for tomatoes and bell peppers NPK 13-10-17. These have melted away into the soil... i can see the change ... more new growth and no more yellowing. One plant is yellow green from seedling... i thought of throwing it away but i gave it another chance. It must be genetic... never turned completely green.. i don't think it will be my biggest yielder but who knows what secrets it has to tell... :D she's a female.

Hello fellow growers.
This is my weekly update. Went out yesterday to check the plants... Things seem to be going well.... some look better than others but i"m pleased with how things are going. They are branching nicely and still have lots of veg time.

I'm a little worried cuz i noticed that on 3 plants some of the lower leaves are broken off like something or someone brushed passed the plants... You can see two ,photos where the bark on one of the stems is litteraly rubbed off... what could be causing this ?(human? animal?)

One of the lower braches on my best girl was barely hanging on by a thread so i removed it completely and took it home where i plan on rooting it in soil. It"s already in the pot and looking perky... i think i"ll be using this as a mother for other clones in the winter... if it roots of course.

Here are the pics.20130622_144238.jpg20130622_144301.jpg20130622_144307.jpg20130622_144314.jpg20130622_144326.jpg20130622_144319.jpg20130622_144332.jpg20130622_144338.jpg20130622_144344.jpg20130622_144349.jpg20130622_144353.jpg20130622_144400.jpg20130622_144409.jpg20130622_144415.jpg20130622_144420.jpg20130622_144256.jpg20130622_144247.jpg20130622_144230.jpg20130622_144222.jpg20130622_143634.jpg20130622_143641.jpg20130622_143655.jpg20130622_143956.jpg20130622_144022.jpg20130622_144131.jpg20130622_144142.jpg20130622_144146.jpg20130622_144152.jpg20130622_144202.jpg20130622_144210.jpg20130622_144217.jpg20130622_144423.jpg
