Zenith's stealth Bubblelicious/AK-48 PC grow

Well guys, the time has finally come to put into practice what I've been reading about for a good while now.

I'll try not to ramble too much in the updates but instead make it easy to follow.

Soil: Jungle Growth Pure Organic Garden and Vegetable Mix (Lowe's)
Water: Distilled Water (Wal-Mart)
Tools: AcuRite Wireless Weather Thermometer (Wal-Mart)
Nutrients: FloraNova Grow & Bloom (Amazon) , Espoma Garden Lime (Amazon)
Ph tools: General Hydroponics pH Control Kit (Amazon), Kelway Soil pH meter (Ebay)
PC: PCgrowcase.com perpetual harvest kit (my buddy)

• Lights: 4 x 6500k, 4 x 2700k (subject to change)

Pots: 1 gallon pots (Wal-Mart)
Seeds: Nirvana Fem. autoflower Bubblelicious and Fem. AK-48 (Nirvana Seeds)
Goal: After first harvest have a ration of 1g/day. Per plant I'm aiming for 18-28g for the Bubblelicious and will aim for 25-35g for AK-48.

Okay, so those are the goodies I'm working with right now and I may add or change certain things. A lot of these things are in the mail right now and should arrive sometime next week. My friend still has to switch his plants from the pc's (he bought a grow tent and sold me his pc's for half what he bought them for.. good deal for me anyways.. ) However, I still have all the equipment I need to start this grow in a small cabinet until he gets me the pc cases.

Although the cases are meant to do a perpetual harvest, I am actually going to start 2 Bubb plants in the smaller case and do LST.

The AK-48 will probably start a week or more after in the larger case and also be LST'd as I do not have those seeds yet. I'm going to use each case to grow different strains rather than use one for vegging and flowering.

12/30: Put two fem. Bubblelicious seeds in a cup of water at 6:00pm
12/31: Will put the two seeds in a moist towel in the afternoon sometime.

I'll add pics as soon as I have more than a couple to add. Time to be one with Mother Nature y'all.

No kidding, it's going to be a challenge getting more than an oz but I'ma do all I can!

UPDATE 12/31

Soil pH: 6.0 - 6.2

I put the seeds in a moist paper towel only for a few hours before deciding to plant them into the soil instead. I have the pots next to an electric heater. It's probably near 72 deg. F or higher. Next update when they sprout.

Good luck with the grow Zenith, i'll be watching it! Also electric heater is a good idea, i've noticed the plants can handle pretty bad weather (cold/hot) for a little bit. This is a good thing for me lmao. Anyways can't wait to see some pics!

I was reading in my grow reference that marijuana plants are like people when it comes to temperature. If it feels cold to you, it does to them too. If it feels hot to you, it does to them too.

UPDATE:

1/2/11: At around 2:00pm 1 of 2 seeds is already breaking soil. For that seed which will be known as "Rosebud" and the other seed that has yet to sprout will be dubbed Mary Jo Winston, in honor of a trailer park mother that has birthed many babies, as I hope this plant shall grow many buds... while still looking sexy, Amen..

I will consider today as Day 1 for Rosebud and I'm turning up the heat on the electric heater in hopes the other one will sprout today too! I've been keeping the topsoil moist just by dripping a few drops from the distilled water. I'll add pictures once they both sprout.

EDIT: I'm getting my pc case on Wed. or Thurs.

UPDATE: 1/3/11

Day 1 (it's almost day 2 but to make things simple today is a continuation of day 1)

So I have some good news and some bad news.

Bad news is that I burned Mary Jo by putting her under the light before she fully sprouted. The stem has a black burn spot on it, but it may be salvageable.

Good news is that I got my AK-48 seeds in the mail today. A few of them got crushed during delivery so I contacted Nirvana and will hopefully get some new seeds.

I will probably start germinating 2 AK's tonight.

This is true. And I have other seeds germing anyways so ill survive this if it happens to be a miscarriage

Just a small update

1/4: Put two AK-48 seeds into soil to finish germinating, and are going to sit next to my electric heater until they have both sprouted and are ready to receive light. Mary jo had an unofficial funeral today, I didn't notice any change, so I'm just going to take this as a lesson learned and use her pot for another AK-48 plant which is in a cup of water getting pre-soaked. I hope I get my pc's tomorrow since Rosebud isn't getting the circulation I'd like, but I think the temps will be fine for another day or two. I will post pics tomorrow.
