Zimmerman-Martin Case

you're not even familiar with the facts of the case. you need to sit down for a few hours and listen to zimm's interviews with serino, and how he changes his story a half a dozen times. fully familiarize yourself with the case, then use those oh-so-awesome "critical thinking" skills you claim to have.

any conclusion you come to before being fully familiar with all the available evidence is just your opinion formed without knowledge, thought, or reason. in other words, prejudiced beliefs.

good day sir.
Ok, I had given you the benefit of the doubt and answered your questions to the best of my knowledge thinking that maybe you could possibly have a decent individual buried deep inside you somewhere. I guess I was wrong. No longer will you ever receive a response from me. I'm tired of your no it all want to be bullshit and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Fact of the matter is this thread was created to get peoples opinions on the subject mentioned and not for people to come and try to get a rise out of others.

Have you ever had to pull out a gun on someone? I doubt it, because if you had then you would know that in the moment things can become a little hazy. I have however and I honestly thought that when it came time for me to have to do so that I would be perfectly fine with it. Well, I was wrong. My back leg was shaking and I was nervous as hell. Thankfully I didn't have to pull the trigger since the confrontation ended soon after I pulled my piece.

Wondering why I had to pull my gun? Let me tell you. Me and my girlfriend were sitting in the back of my car in an alleyway talking after we just got through fucking. Not doing anything but sitting there talking, this guy came and pounded on my window. I rolled down the window and asked what his deal was. He proceeded to ask me if I could leave since there had been a lot of break ins around that area. Since I know the area well, I knew exactly what he was referring to. I said no problem and began to exit my vehicle.

During this process he began to become irate and start telling me that I need to fucking leave and so on. I could smell the alcohol all the way from the other side of my car so I knew what his deal was at that point. Keeping an eye on him as he was trying to cuss at me I got really upset at that point and told him that he needed to get in his car and go home since I was already in the process of leaving and there was no reason for him to be acting that way. There was another individual in the car with him so I kept my eye on him also since they were clearly drunk. After me and this dude going back and fourth I noticed the other guy coming out of the car and through the windshield I seen that he had a long bar in his hand as he started to exit the vehicle.

At that point I grabbed my Ruger p95 from in between my seat cocked it and pointed it at his kneecap. I told the other guy that if he stepped any closer that he would lose both kneecaps. He didn't move and proceeded to tell me that he used to be a police officer. I said to him that if he had indeed used to be a police officer he should know better than to come at someone like that. Especially since you never know what the other person has. In this case I had a firearm and he had a pole. I told them to both get back in their car and go back home. They did just that.

Until you know what its like to be in a situation like that I suggest you stop believing everything the news and media tells you. Also you need to understand that when things like that happen you are so scared that you cant even think straight. So yes, I would for one believe that Zimmerman could possibly mix up his story since he ended up having to take a step further and use his weapon.

Whether or not he is innocent is yet to be decided. But if my life, or someone that I love is in danger I'm gonna kill you first and that's all there is to that. I didn't want to get into all that because I don't like reliving that night but you left me no choice and now I can't stand you even more for it. Do me a favor and keep your opinions to yourself. I don't want to hear them, and I'm pretty sure a lot of others feel the same way. You are an immature little shithead that likes to troll threads and I would appreciate it if you keep the hell out of mine.

911 call

Zimmerman: Oh he's running away now

Dispatcher: Ok, are you pursuing him?

Zimmerman: Yes

Dispatcher: Ok we don't need you to do that.

Zimmerman: Ok (you can still hear him running)

That's all I have to say.

I understand what you're saying. And I never said I base a person's intelligence off their grammar. Of course I'm not going to disregard a message someone types if the message is strong but the grammar is weak. And I'm not saying that if you have bad grammar, you're dumb. What I am saying though, is that it can make you look dumb (or lazy). I choose to avoid this by attempting to utilize grammar properly. You might think it's useless and that it doesn't reflect poorly on people, but unfortunately it can and often does.

What you type is who you are online. How do you want to represent yourself?
well that wasnt specifically aimed at you just in general. an to be honest i was too lazy/never gave a fuck to remember it in elementary school an thats just carried on till now lol. that usually is how my brain works if its not deemed as important it just throws it out. an i dont think in our society it doesnt reflect poorly it just speaks to what someone takes as important. the way i see it an the way i type is literally the way i talk. so when you see all these short ass words thats how they come outa my mouth so i guess im talkin it literal cause who i am online is who i am not online. na mean?

all grammar aside zimmerman is still a bitch!

Yeah, I hear ya. That's a good point about it being important to people who think it's important (man that was a mouthful, lol). But we have derailed this thread enough, good on you for bringing back to the topic at the end of your post, haha.

So, yeah, fuck Zimmerman.

Shit, no worries, man. Sucks you're dealing with that sobriety. I shudder to think of one week sober let alone two weeks.

Don't you even have any alcohol?

And Zimmerman is a lying bitch.

innocent until proven guilty by a jury of his peers and sentenced in a court of law. all else is speculation. no need to be so divisive over it, caused way too many issues because of america's inability to handle racial situations. either we ignore them and justify them, or we use them to stir up racial tension or to crucify a certain race. doesnt matter what skin tone you are, once you murder someone, there are consequences, and we should focus on zimmerman getting punished for murder, and let both sides present their cases, so that the jury may decide. only way to be truly fair.
but part of me is afraid that zimmerman will not get an impartial jury. Murderer he may be, but he still has a right to an impartial jury and a speedy trial.

have an opinion, fuck, dont stand behind some cliche slogan

i choose to make my own opinion, he should have never left the car, nobody would have died or been arrested and no crime would have happen

but its true. thats my opinion. he killed someone, obviously, but is he truly guilty of cold blooded murder or was it self defense? Only a jury has the right to decide and who are we to crucify this man without hearing both the prosecution and the defense offer up testimony and evidence? And you say blah blah blah until you go to a country where you, as a defendant, have no rights what so ever, no way to fight against the prosecution, no protections under the law. even though the american system is not perfect, we should value what we have in comparison to alot of other countries

its a facade to make you think our justice systems work

something that works, does just that like a john deer tractor, its not supposed to work just when its nice out, its supposed to work every day

That's an interesting simile for our justice system.

I approve.

are you one of those people who like to affect apathy and distrust in anything govt related? like fuck our system works fine we just got fucked up people who like to warp it and abuse it. i agree our justice system needs an overhaul... not with the rights we give to people, but the actual people themselves who interept laws to benefit or to harm people.

Dissenting opinion.
While it is corrupted almost beyond recognition in our courts today, that does not devalue the principle. I would think it's a good thing to teach and to believe.

The divergence with the tractor metaphor is that while you can swap a Deere for a Ferguson, there's no other (tolerable) leading brand waiting to be chosen over presumption of innocence. cn

how does it not devalue the principle when a NAVY asshat gets away with kidnaping cause we were at war times, i was in court, his fucking lawyer didnt even argue the cicumstances

its was just oh well you have made every attempt to play into your part as a good worker bee, so you get a fine, 300 bucks

fuck that

next person had a driving on suspended girl said like a lot, guess what she got the max 6 days work crew and 600 dollar fine, cause she didnt say sir

fuck this shit

hey well im sorry you did something illegal and got punished for it. doesnt make me retarded, how about the person who got caught in the first place? Our belief in the innocence of the accused and an impartial jury is the only path to true justice
