I'm thinking light burn, but any ideas? Just showed up about 2 days ago and hasn't progressed very much, but looks like it could.... only on a few sugar leaves ~mid-way up only select colas.. Chic Mint OG, day 36 12/12, 315w lec +100w T5s @18", soil mix, ph ~6.3, Fox Farms tigerbloom+ microbs + Roots organics Bloom @ ~1200-1500uS (EC ~1.2-1.5 milliSiemens/cm), no CalMag last 4 waterings...

Day 36? Wow. Well, if they're not ready yet they will be soon. Whatever you do, don't go to extremes.

I doubt you're getting that damage from a lack of anything. Could it be too much love? Me personally, I'd just use water until harvest.

Those ladies look done, Are you sure you have your dates right ?
I would be afraid of degrading your trichomes if they go longer, Although some things can cause them to look done when they are not, which would be Mites or deficiency of something. but IMHO they look done and yummy......
Good Luck keep up the great work

The only time I have seen leaves look like that are when there has been bud rot present. But it doesn't normally start at the tips.
It happens when the stem of the leaf has died due to rot at base of stem.
I don't think that is the case here, which might not seem helpful but given its the last thing anyone wants to happen I would still check deep in the base of the sugar leaves to be sure. Fingers crossed its got nothing to do with whats happening here.

That is some crazy fast weed by the look of it BTW

@coreywebster & @Bear420 , yep just confirmed the flip date was 11/25, that puts me at day 47, sorry not 37!!! Haha! Still not too bad for stoner... ;) Anyway, here's a couple shots of the base of two "withering" sugar leaves. Looks pretty darn healthy/happy in there, any thoughts?

Here's a thought that should spark a lot of debate. I kinda think it's ready......Why not snip off that bud, cure it, and get a sneak peek at what's coming your way in the future? :weed:

lol! I like the way you think @Ablaze !!! Here's a couple shots of the tip of an internal calyx i just cut off from the middle of one of the main nugs. Pretty cool you can see the purps coming in at the base of some of the trichomes... :weed: Looks like they still have a bit of time though??? I might just take you up on your advice though, Ablaze! 18111182948512.jpg 1811118302738.jpg

She probably could use a little bit more time, but I'd sneak one. LOL.

Oh, and she is a beauty!

I always clip a teaser. lol. I can't help it, and nor do I feel bad about it. Growing is a game of patience, and sometimes clipping one or 2 of the smaller buds early will help you to not harvest the whole plant early just because you want to smoke it.

As for the issue at hand, I don't think correcting it will effect your harvest too much at this point. But for future reference, zinc deficiencies are typically caused by too much phosphorus. Zinc is a micro nutrient, required in very low quantities by the plant, but phosphorus locks out zinc. In order to induce a zinc deficiency in any plant I'm pretty sure you would have to have a special nutrient formula with 0% zinc.

It could be possible that it's just too close to the light too. Would explain why the parts of the leaf covered in trichs is still alive, while the part not protected from the light is necrotic.

Most people will have to settle for ordinary compost tea.
Good compost tea requires good compost, something few people have the knowledge, space or materials for
Use the 10 bucket system to build your compost.
5 buckets dried woody materials and chopped dry leaves and sticks (soak it in water if it is very dry)
4 buckets of green material like grass and leaf clippings
    1 bucket of fresh manure
