I have never tried a vape, do they give that satisfying hit, you know what i mean when it get you at the back of the throat. Or is it just like sucking in warm air.
very satisfying hit, it takes a bit to get used to, especially if you were a hardcore smoker. I particularly didn't like smoking that much to begin with, vaping just seemed like a much more elegant process.
I use a herbalaire 2.1 with the bag function, I fill up nice thick bags at 375 degrees F. when you take a hit at first you don't really feel anything, you do feel it get you at the back of the throat, but within 2 seconds of inhaling you'll feel your lungs absorbing the cannabinoids . . . it's a pretty intense/awesome feeling. it's pretty different and it makes you cough out all the crap in your lungs as THC and many other cannabinoids are powerful expectorants (break up thick mucus, and causes coughing to get it out.)
it takes atleast 2 weeks to get used to it, and you need to use it exclusively to get the true spectrum of its benefits. I get just as high as I did with smoking, but I don't feel like I have a bunch of crap building up in my lungs.
and another thing, it feels like every bit of the hit matters much much more than smoke. as smoke typically only has a small % of cannabinoids in the smoke . . . . . vaporizers have over 90% cannabinoid material in the vapor . . . . so when you take a fat rip it just feels like it hits you stronger and faster, feels like you're truly getting more out of your bud as you can take what would normally give you 3-4 hits and turn it into 15 hits that will get 2 people high.
but yeah didn't realyl mean to spam this thread with vaporizer info . . . . for those who love their glass so much there are alternatives that allow you to vape through your bong.
