Yup, I was playing Zumba party for Wii the other day. It's intense, but fun. If I do it a week straight the lbs just drop off.

Go on a walk...

To McDonalds?

Negotiation ;)
not mcdonalds, go to subway and get a 6 inch sub with no sauce. I lost 6 pounds in 2 week just by eating subway instead of burgers. As soon as I eat a burger from a fast food place I gain like 5 pounds

i haven't done it but i would imagine it would take quite a bit of energy and dedication to see any change in your figure. for me, i had to do intense exercise 4-5x a week for months before i had lost a significant amount of weight (trying to lose 20-30lbs). if you're ready to change your life, it's a good idea - doing it once or twice is a waste of time.

I like it. Im not hugely overweight but it is alot of fun. The music is great (all latin tracks, reggae/dancehall, calypso) and sexy dance moves. Helps yo learn a bit of salsa too. I know I have the Wii game but as far as I can tell it isn't much different to the classes, a whole lot cheaper and still a great fun workout. It's nice to get a friend over, get baked and prance around the living room burning off a few calories. I must say my coordination is alot better and it keeps my butt firm lol.

see thats why i liked it, i used to be a dancer, and well, its full out dancing. I love dancing, and i feel like now that we have a wii, this is something i can commit to, because I need to change my body and eating habits, so why not start exercising in the way i love and working on what i eat? plus doing this baked would be soo much fun

I actually enjoy Zumba workouts. However, I prefer Zumba Toning classes vs the regular Zumba. I am not a big fan of latin style dancing so the regular Zumba just gets a bit too much for me. Toning is perfect because its not as fast paced as the normal classes. Better for me to get coordinated :) Try a class if you can. Its def more intense to be in a room full of people shaking their ass. I was surprised at how fun and open it was when I went. The Wii doesn't work for me because I have a hard time getting motivated when I'm just sitting at home.

sounds like a good plan. just have to set a time and do it each day or a few days a week. i have been slacking so bad on my schedule lately because i am exhausted. it's hard to change lifestyle.

My mama and I get our yoga pants and tank tops on and take over the living room for a good few hours at Zumba time. Very fun workout.
