If the plant I'm growing turns out to be male. And I grow it out to collect the polloen. Will I be able to cross it with a female and pass on the mutation?

I was just wanting to see of everything is looking ok with my plant. I've never grown before, let alone a mutant. Any thoughts, suggestions, and advice welcome
