Which of these do I clone?? Opinions ??

I am in need of some opinions of what would be the best way to clone my White Widows. I am 30 days from seed and I have 7 plants. 1 through 3 if you look at the pics are straight and tall and look great. # 4 was the first seed to go and was the biggest and strongest up until it leaned over (see pics) and now has the biggest stalk but not the tallest. # 5 was the runt seed and is trying to catch up and looks ok # 6 and # 7 really look like crap compared to the others. What I need advise and opinions on is do I take 4 clones off of each plant sex them and throw away the males and finish them out keeping track of what plant does what and choosing the mother from all the females. OR do I take 2 clones from just the really good plants sex them and start over with all new clones for flowering? My thought is the first because I need 8 plants every 2 weeks and because I have no plants in front of these if I end up with more than 8 then good for me. I can just put the smaller ones in 2 weeks after the first batch no harm no foul.

So please give me your thoughts on what you think would be my best option. You can reference my journal so you can better understand what I am trying to accomplish

use your first idea... keeping track of which clones came from which plants so you can cull males.

don't judge a plant early in the grow... many times i have been amazed at what a runt grows up to be... and totally disappointed at how the "best" ones turn out... males grow big and fast

with all that space, why arent you running a mother? or are you planning on running mothers and just not mentioned/built for them yet?

Thanks for the input! Just starting up so I have no mother yet and i am needing to get one from this set of plants. I just have never done this before and with so many variables in my plants i just didn't want to make a mistake that would cost me time or give me an inferior product. Thanks again for your help and comments.

the 2 in the back left look like the best choice

BFQ gives good advice. Why the hurry to clone? I wait until the lower branches gets a little woody, after sexing. I use soil, cups, heating pad w/ thermostat at 90 degrees, dome & spray mister. It works for me.

I need to clone for sexing purposes. I don't want to flower my potential mothers to find sex. If i clone now, then sex the clones i will know faster and be able to use the mothers I have for more clones. Make sense?
