Those Dinafem genes are damn good. I always find they have awesome genes, every pic I see they are exploding with buds. Pretty good company if you ask me. I love the concoction too. A great thing about autos is how quickly they grow and the amount of variety in grows you can have in a short amount of time.

the amnesia haze auto was off the charts ( butterscotch tasting omg!! ), but didnt yield like the auto haze.

I have to ask how are those autos? Some hate em some love em but you are making them look good and worth a shot.

I realy love autos.
Got into growing em to make some fems for a cancer group.
i grew a few i the old days an decided to give them Out.
Autos have amazing vigor an grow so fast.
Very easy for beginners, cause they aRe hella tough.
And sativa ones are huge.
They usually out yield my lil photo plants of the same age an size.
i guess cause they get light 24/7
I Don't think I've had a unsmokable auto,( like I have with photos lol)


but errors with them early cost you alot of yield
Yield you can't veg em longer.
(stretching em in late veg can increases yields)
also you can't clone em an most are ffems, using Sts will get ya seed.

Okay with your auto crosses does the offspring show any photo s or all autos?

. If the auto gene is recessive than an f1 cross of auto X photo will result in 100% photo plants heterozygous for the auto gene.. Part of the definition of a recessive trait is that it is NOT apparent in its heterozygous form.. We can see in auto X photo breeding that the auto gene is apparent in the heterozygous form based of the drastically reduced flower times and the tendency to bloom with more hours of daylight.. To me the auto gene is co-dominate.. Co-dominate traits are apparent in their heterozygous form (and different than their homozygous form).

F1
Auto X photo = 100% photo het for auto (het form of auto is lowered flower time and earlier to flower outside)
F2
Photo (het for auto) x photo (het for auto) = 25% auto, 50% photo (het for auto), and 25% photo..


So do u get about 25% true autos (dominate form) 50% fast/early photos (co dominate form) and 25% regular photos when u crack the f3's?




the c99 haze mutt is f4. , swingkid haze mutt is f5
so they will still have a few photos showing up for a gen or 2

thats actually not entirely true scarhole,f1 seeds will have very small percentage,but 100% are not photo....and once you breed from the f2's,it doesnt matter if any of the phenos auto cause its recessive....

Your right its not 0 , but its very low.
and it will never hit 100% auto Dom, just very high.

After the first cross auto is resessive.
So one must keep adding dominate auto genes to the mix
My ChemD bubba auto mutt gave me an auto last gen,
I believe the c99 will this round,

A friend / more experienced breeder "Cres" from AFN says the auto gene is very invasive.
after a few gen the auto becomes dominate, it will take over faster than expected.

The next auto to be crossed to my projects is Afgan Kush Ryder.
I need to go germ my next c99 auto mutt today




Been thinking of supplementing hallogen or incandessant like RRog an others did at my suggestion
i got the Idea from a old Mel franks growers bible in there floro light section .
ill run it all day for Emerson effect, Mr RROg just used it @ lights out.

But ill Finnish with just the inda grow tell the nycd haze big mama is done as a control.

Why add the halogen? The inda gro induction bulb has 730. Not just the led's at lights out.

It has a little IR spike,
I would like the 66O nm of the pontoon to be more evenly matched with 730nm for Emerson effect.
A 1:1 ratio could realy optimize the pontoon

I really wish mr Daryl would put a switch on the pontoon to run the 730 led all day or just @ lights off.
Don't want to ruin the warrenty.
Wonder if i could I'd pay him to modify mine ...
